Maybe White House was overrated, but then what does that say about Springfield? Good win tonight for the jackets hate that we can't see the rematch, but JSS was the better team tonight. White House has a lot returning for next year so hopefully we'll be back. Maybe coach porter will go out on top and let Hamilton take over next year. I love porter, he's a great family friend and he's won a lot of football games, but sometimes I think he holds teams back. Go Blue Devils!!

Man this one hurts cause I really felt like we were better than this team. I feel like the onside kick after our first touchdown gave them great field position and really took away our momentum. Then the onside after half again gave it to them at the 50. I don't really understand those calls. Great game by south side though they ran it right down our throats in the second half. I'll throw Grant Wicker's name in here too. Not saying he's the best ever, but he was a really good running back for us when I played. Had back to back seasons with over 1000 yards if I'm not mistaken. Super tough

If we play like we did in the 2nd half, minus the turnovers, then I see us going to state. But we can't come out flat like that and expect to win football games, especially deep in the playoffs. This White House team is good, but they're gonna have to earn these wins now. Can't be expecting teams to just lay down because we're 11-0.

I agree, Chad especially was on a really good team that included his brother, Matt Parker, the Payne's and probably a few more really good athletes that I'm forgetting (that team should've won state). And I'm probably biased because me and trent played together, but like you said trent was really our only big play guy which means it should've been harder for him to get the kind of numbers he did since teams could just key on him. And they did key on him, yet he made big plays anyway.

I just don't see how we have both watched the same team play all year, but think so differently about the passing game.
