  1. Start listening at the 23:50 mark it started late.
  2. Listened in on the TSSAA meeting today. No decision again. It seems are gonna leave it up to the Governor. Kinda disappointed tbh. I expected more than what we got.
  3. That's comforting to know you can blame whoever is in charge of your country at the time of discovery for any illness and viruses that the world has known. Who was in charge when the flu was discovered? I know the answer but I'm sure you do as well as it's still around. I'm sure you are just on another forum bashing each and every leader that was in charge when something life threatening was around or hasn't been cured. No possible way you would just be singling Trump out for this incident alone.
  4. You are correct about football, but you blaming the virus on Trump only shows how biased you really seem to be about Trump hating. I truly hope we have football but our Governor is to blame for football problems not Trump.
  5. This virus sure is a problem. Biden would have to be told about the virus a couple times a day just so he knew it existed most likely and I'm not being mean. I really do believe his mind is that far gone sadly.
  6. Sounds like grounds for re election to me.
  7. Good post hes been good for America, not so much for the Dems.
  8. Been a good 4 years. Despite the evil lurking in the shadows known as Democraps.
  9. Think he were referring to Japan, not China? China has around very close to 1.4 billion people. Here's a good video for Democrats.
  10. I'd take whatever you want to call Trump over anything Democraps have to offer any day. Hillary? Seriously? Now you have a candidate who when can manage to put a serious sentence together forgets what hes talking about lol. Here's a good video on Biden, however we may never know what he as talking about. At the very least I don't think he lied in this video. https://youtu.be/0IrZXz_22rk
  11. Good post I agree with 100% of it. Only thing is the people at or near age 80 in my life are precious to me as well. Those are the people I'm really concerned for. I understand that kids have a small chance of serious implications as well. I only hope one kid being sick wouldnt lock the team down for that week.
  12. The dangers of this virus are greatly overstated. Confirmed 10.7M Recovered 5.48M Deaths 516,000 Dead worldwide Sounds serious to me... The increased hospitalization rate is because hospitals closed for two months and have a huge backlog. Pretty sure that anyone who thought they had Covid-19 would drive across country if that's what it took to get checked. Everyone is playing catch up. Doubt anyone waited around 2 months thinking they had coronavirus for their favorite health care facility to reopen, and backlog would indicate they had need for a hospital for 2 months and just decided to ride it out. I'm sorry for your losses man, I had seen you state before you knew 2 people that have died from it in your area . Now it's up to 3 and your brother also has it. I'll pray for him but only know him as team69's brother. Is your neck of the woods afflicted badly from it?
  13. Appreciate the nod sir, I should have realized from the rant itself that conversation is just wasted among people who just want to be mad. I did intend to just talk however and I did reply in kind, but I meant him no personal attack in general. Just was trying to convey that In short, I'd take my chances here is all before I'd move to a place where in general it's already bad enough to be shut down before it even starts. At least here precautions at the very least seem to be a large concern moving forward. I hope his and every kid gets to play as well. Kids aren't the ones susceptible though so much to this virus. It's the parents, grandparents, coaches and anyone with a little age or underlying health concern to them. Not sure I myself would move just to allow my kid to play a sport is all considering what's out there. Seen some of your kids pics in the Jackson suns paper online BPM. Hope you all have a good year bud.
  14. Its obvious you feel attacked and that's ok, my day isnt swayed much but the crying rants of a father who isnt getting his way. My wife is also in the medical field and most likely more hands on with this virus than yours considering yours seems to be someone affiliated with some type of elected surgery. I'm glad her position makes you think your smart enough to lecture everyone by reading the news lol as everything you stated is available to anyone who watches the news or access to Google. I do agree on one thing, I do feel this is overhyped somewhat and I do feel a rise in coronavirus diagnosis is due largely in part to more people being tested. As an example before I had stated that the spikes in cases per day alot can be contributed to the number of tests being given per day has increased alot. I do feel in the end you misunderstood me though. I only meant to state that Tennessee has taken a much harder stance than surrounding states and to that end it's most likely any scene going forward could stand a better chance of said officials interfering just as they have affected the start of the season in football. Also worst case scenario is what I meant about putting your family in a much more serious environment. You took it as an attack and it wasn't meant that way. I did laugh at your rant though it's rather comical.
  15. It's obvious that you have something to lose in this as does every kid, parent, coach, and even fans. If it's that important to your family as a whole I honestly wouldnt wait, as Tennessee seems to be taking more precautions then surrounding states with much worse statistics as far as Identified covid-19 cases are concerned. To that end though would you be willing to expose your kids and family to a much more serious environment as far as the virus is concerned? Wish you good luck either way. At this point I'm gonna sit back and let the wheels turn as it's the only thing we can do at this point. We can only hope the decisions made are in the best interest of the kids. We should be thankful whatever happens.
  16. I wonder why they think it's ok to continue with football the way their covid cases are and we have nearly shut down and scrounging just to have a season. Ours is still tbd.
  17. Thank you, that tells me one of us doesnt know what we are doing though as well. Not sure which end of the spectrum we fall however I like our statistics much better.
  18. How are their covid-19 numbers compared to ours anyone know without doing the legwork?
  19. Agree with ya man and it seems we hardly ever agree on anything. In the end as much as we say we care about these kids having a season, the least we can do is our share in trying to prevent the spread of the season killer.
  20. The revenue loss in not having football just for the school itself will be tremendous. Other schools and programs depend upon it as well.
  21. That makes them not have to care though. I mean if you are getting paid and not having to work for it you think they are actually gonna go against the grain?
  22. People will make a stand as to which sport they spectate or somehow have a hand in. Be it Coaching, refereeing, spectating, parent of players etc. Not sure which other sports have as many kids on a team as football might have. Not to mention a following like football. Theres a big reason football makes the money it does and is able to fund other sports... The spectators are there.
  23. If a Tennesseean comes down I could understand disgruntled etc. If an actual Yankee comes down best to close shop altogether and cut your losses. https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2020/07/01/885263658/green-yellow-orange-or-red-this-new-tool-shows-covid-19-risk-in-your-county Interesting little graph. If you read down far enough.
  24. Considering how much worse Florida cases are compared to Tennessee as far as numbers go, that says alot. Surely at the very least we could do the same.
