Maybe. I know that Jackson should be back to being as healthy as he has been all year in a few more days. It’s not a secret he has been out for the last five weeks. He suffered a fracture and it is almost healed. The others need some rest but one of them will have a tough road to manage as we go. Just part of the sport and injuries happen. I still think we have a solid chance to chase a third straight state title though.

Cleveland left 4 starters at home trying to get a little healthier. The 120 pound kid for you guys was very solid. I hate that ours missed a chance to compete with him.

Hard to really gage what they have since they have largely been an individual tournament team this year. Does Wilson Central move up to number #2?

The final was 42-27. Cleveland gave 6 at 138 when the match had been secured. Bradford is still out of the line up and they got 6 at that weight. I don’t think they can make up enough points to close the distance in a few weeks but you never know.

I so wish as does he that he has been playing possum. Doctor said two more weeks and he should be good.

Cleveland won 170 this past week but it was close. 145 was close also but I think being at home with a big crowd has to help them.

Bradford was dominating the kid. He was a little overly aggressive on top with some cross faces, a head butt and a few elbows just based on the video I saw. They needed him to get a pin for the team score and the other kid was making no attempt to do anything on bottom. I think frustration and the pressure got the better of him. Stalling should have been called long before it got to the DQ part. So much so IMO that the DQ would have went the other way. Disclaimer: I am not in anyway related to Bradford from Blackman. They have not and I doubt they will see each other this year. The Father Ryan tournament might be the only chance but I am not sure either will be in attendance.

Bradley getting a lot of love for beating a short handed McCallie team. Blackman probably needs to be a little higher after winning the Blackhorse and finishing ahead of Christian Brothers. Pigeon Forge finished four points behind Science Hill at the Southern Slam but only an honorable mention that seems off to me.

They will probably have some kids that are not down just yet. That will make the score better but it will still be a one sided affair. Baylor has definitely recruited some very good kids. I am curious to see what happens when they get Blair and Wyoming Sem later in the season. Will they be competitive at that level because ultimately that is the measuring stick for programs that recruit for wrestling.

I got Cleveland 45 Father Ryan 18. A few variables could move it up or down a few points. What weight is Eason going to be at 120-126? Do we have a HWT this week? No idea on those two questions.
