Summertown probably not that good and Richland probably not that bad but if you can’t handle Summertown pressure you gonna lose

You are correct sir to many MVPs not enough captains as my old coach use to say - if you watch lot of state tournament games very seldom do the run and gun offense win it’s those teams that know how to keep a lead - doesn’t matter you win by 1 or 30 - needed to practice that in these games so you know how to do it when it really matters - we were up by 14 at one point

Summertown Up 14 in 1st half never called time out when WC started a run - up 10 w 1:50 left keep shooting 3s like we behind still no TO let them catch up - called TO when 10 down w 1.8 seconds left - that’s correct 1.8 seconds but had no 10 point play to call

Don’t matter much on districts probably be same core teams come out of sectionals as always - most schools put marginal emphasis on volleyball so can get more basketball time in

Saw them play last week - pressure be their undoing but get in half court good as anybody

Well they finally got 1 playing 2 from each bracket - guess better than nothing

Seems odd to me as well - probably both shouldn’t have gotten in knowing it probably was going to end this way

Summertown and Loretto each won their side of bracket in Cornersville tournament but decided not to play each other this early - guess gonna see each other enough later - not that it gets old but let’s just say we’ve met before

We’ll get back on 2AA thread / lost to good Page team by 1 / haven’t gelled yet as a team / too much individual play and too many fouls / big post getting better but got long way o go to replace Burdette

Our girl Ansley played about 2 minutes in 1st half - 2 quick fouls - Summertown probably not beat good team without her

Wayne Co solid probably step above last year / Summertown still getting legs under them after Volleyball Championship - both teams will be in the mix

Summertown wins 2 at play day ( Lipscomb and Richland ) but needs to shake the rust off from volleyball - be better hopefully as season progresses
