After watching Cornersville beat Moore County and Mt. Pleasant by a combined score of 87-0, I'm taking the Dawgs for all the marbles.

If they are looking past Rounds 1 and 2, they are making a mistake. A key injury or a hungry opponent in the 1st or 2nd Round could end Huntingdon's season before they ever see Cornersville.

Hahaha. Somebody doesn't like being irrelevant.

I'm glad so few are talking about Cornersville. Overlooked and mostly forgotten is just where we want to be.

They are a classy bunch. Most definitely. A 35 point spread in the second half means a running clock, so the Dawgs might get to bed early tonight. These last two quarters will roll by quickly.

These boys watched Mt. Pleasant run their mouths on social media all week. The Dawgs do their talking on Friday night. Mt. Pleasant's trophy will look cute in our closet. We're hoping to put a real trophy in the case later this year.

Cornersville has to develop some passing ability to get over the hump. The offense is way too predictable to get back to Cookeville. Everyone knows what we do now, and passing is not what we do.

You are the definition of pathetic. Your team just won the gold ball and you're on here methodically hunting down anyone who said anything that was pro-Cornersville yesterday? Go enjoy your kids' success. That is if you even have a kid involved.

Recall all of the Greenback fans who ridiculed our kids and said we would be mercy ruled. My post was saying nothing more than our kids weren't going to lay down for yours, and they didn't.

The better team won, but not by the blowout margin that many in here laughably predicted. See you next year.

This is closer to the way I see it. A good game that comes down to the wire. I truly see our defense as the better of the two based on my own observations, but anything can happen.

I agree about it being too one dimensional. The difference will be our defense. We don't need many points to get the W since you won't be scoring much.

Their o-line will struggle all day. It's weak.

Dynasties are usually regarded as experiencing consistent success at winning championships over a specific period of time. The 30 years between 1987 and the present definitely disconnects that team from any dynasty that might emerge at Greenback today. Also, dynasties win championships rather than simply appear in them. If they can put multiple gold balls in the trophy case within the next few years, then they can think about calling themselves a dynasty. I am in no way trying to be rude or show a lack of respect. I just find it laughable that this team that has no gold balls in 30 years thinks it is so much better than everyone else.

1987 is too long ago to make a connection to the present.

Dynasties win championships. Without the gold balls to back it up, it's a bit early to be talking about dynasties.

They will learn who Cornersville is in less than 24 hours.

I'll have to disagree about Greenback having the better lines. Cornersville should be able to outmatch them on both sides. The only way Greenback has a chance in this game is if they resort to trick plays such as a receiver running in from the sideline before anyone can line up against him.
