It truly is a tough way to end the season. To the O.R. fans I pose the question, "What if the shoe were on the other foot?" You know you would protest the game just as Halls did.
I personally think pitching a high school kid two nights in a row is a bad thing. Nichols shouldn't have even seen the mound Saturday night.
To his credit, Coach Fro owned up to his mistake and took it like a man. He is a class act for Oak Ridge. thumb
p.s. I agree with the comments about the teams cheering in unison. I've seen a couple of local teams do it - not just Halls - and it is truly classless. It is obviously done to distract the pitcher. Come on guys, grow up and leave the orchestrated cheering to the girls.
