I kind of feel bad for the Mavs a Little. Being a Tennessee Fan I can definitely relate to getting your hopes up. And then getting your Heart Broken. Well I will have to admit I'm Very pleasantly surprised. GHS got the Ball in the wide receivers hand's 2nd Half. And that's bad news for a lot of team's. That was the best game the Greeneville coaches have coached all year. With the box stacked they got the Ball out to the receivers quickly. They were the difference to much of a advantage over the AC secondary. But I will have to say I'm very surprised with the strategy ac came out with to start the game Even though they had opportunity to score on some passes. I thought for sure they would come out and just run right at Greeneville the whole first half if they had done that. GHS would have been worn out by the 4th quarter. I think ac got out coached tonight big Time

Elizabethton rolls in this Game

He came from Florida looks good but not better than Gudger. He has some speed but not as much as Gudger. He is hard to bring down. He is a nice looking player. Only problem is he didn't bring any Offensive lineman with him from Florida. Unless there is a change made at QB this will not be the Devil's Year. For the life of me I can't figure out why if you have a young QB who doesn't have a very strong arm. And average at Best running ability. Why he would play over moving one of your Wide receivers to QB . I mean come on who is going to run the read option better our sophomore QB or The fastest man on the Team who has been getting track letter's from both north Carolina and michigan. Which of Course is Jaden Stevenson. And jaden was the starting QB Freshman year and the game that year with elizabethton went to overtime. The QB that day for Betsy was Rollins. It just seems like you are not giving yourself the best chance to win. I'm not saying it would mean that they would for sure win. Just that it would give them a better chance to. Anyway that's just one person's opinion. Whether you agree or not

The question about Ballard that was ask I think like other's have all ready said he makes a difference last year. But not a whole lot this year. Although I do believe if he was coaching Jaden Stevenson might be the QB after Gregg got hurt. He was still there Jaden's freshman year and he started him as The JV QB

This stuff always goes in cycle's with these two school's. And believe it or not what happens at the middle school level seems to be a good indicator what will happen at the high school level. These kid's that are playing now beat the break's off Greeneville at the middle school. Our good class of kid's that won the two back to back State's won when they were there. Greeneville is Better at the middle school level right now. The 7th graders are a special Group and there is some talent in the 8th grade class. Greeneville Won the High School JV Game tonight 35- 0 and the QB that throwed 4 Touchdowns and ran for 1 is 3rd string on Varsity. He is behind the other Freshman on varsity who is 2nd string

I don't agree with saying Betsy left the starters in to Long. That's their decision when you take kid's out. If one Gets hurt then they will have to live with the situation. It's our job to stop them if we don't want them to score. And I would also say when drew gregg got his season ended by injury Greeneville was beating Austin East 35 - 0 with about a minute left before the half. Now I know the coach was just letting him finish out the half and then he would have been done. But it just goes to show a kid can hurt at anytime. I mean they knew how big a drop off it was behind him and he was playing in a 35-0 game

Not many Senior's mav. Very small Senior class. = A lot of young player's playing. And not much Depth along The front line on either side of the ball. They got worn down some by elizabethton who has a huge talented line. And they have no one playing both ways on the line. GHS best lineman rarely ever come off the field. 10 - 10 Game with a minute left before halftime

Playing without Drew Gregg kills this offense. The Early season losses were because of a young Defense more so than anything the offense did wrong. GHS has outstanding speed and athleticism at WR and good depth . But right now they have no one to get the ball to them. It's Time to put the Best Athlete at QB in my opinion that is Jaden Stevenson he played QB as a Freshman started on JV had a good season. Defenses would have a lot harder Time crashing in on gudger so fast in that read option if jaden was the one pulling the ball and running. He is the fastest kid on the team. And probably fastest kid on the Field last night. And he touched the ball 1 Time

Good Ball Game For the Young Devil's. This Game was important for a lot of reasons. You want to be playing your Best before Betsy comes to town. But I think for me being a older fan. I wanted badly to win the last ever matchup between these two team's. Some younger Fans might not remember how good a rivalry this has been in the past. Hate to see it end. I don't think there was any injuries on either side nothing major anyway. Unless I missed something. So that's always good. All and All a Great Night For the Devil's

Greeneville is a Huge underdog in this game. Being at home helps. But elizabethton is to good up Front and to balanced on offense. Devil's need a Great Game Plan and really have to be playing at their Best to make this a close game. The Devil's are extremely Young. And playing without the Senior QB has hurt the passing Game. Devil's need the breaks to go their way. And no turnovers. Hopefully it will be a good game. I know the Devil's Will give it all they have. Go Devil's

Hopefully no major injuries. I know Greeneville had a couple kid's banged up. And I think AE might have had 1 or 2. Hopefully these young Men we'll be ok. Good Game for the Devil's they were able to do what ever they wanted for the most part. Defense played better don't know if that was as much about Greeneville or the opponent. Congratulations to Boone on a well played Game. They are going to have a very good season. Hate that their Great Linebacker/ running back suffered a injury. He is a very good football player. Best of luck to the Blazers moving forward. As for the Devil's there is lots of work to do to get better. Got to watch the film correct some of the mistakes that were made and work hard in practice. Still a lot of game's to be played next week starts district play got to get better there is a lot of talent on the team but it is young talent for sure. They will be a better team after tonight.
