Leon Brown wasn’t bad and Crawford took them to the semifinals before heading back to Brentwood. They have made some noise. Just not a whole lot of it. No matter who they hire that said coach is going to have to reach out to the alumni and get them involved once again.

I don’t think Brad goes back to Cleveland? They did him dirty there. He’s happy at Bradley. Although his son did return to Cleveland as assistant for the wrestling team. So who’s to say?

He wanted the job back in the day after Benny left. That has definitely been said. I was also on the board for one of the hires back in the day so I do know. I wanted him. But they went in another direction. The Tygaard hire was an Alan Jones hire. Hopefully he’s not involved on this one. But the way my fellow alumni want we will more than likely go for alumni. Several that are coaching in the college ranks. We shall see

For 140k a year he might. That’s what they were paying Tygaard. And he did nothing but football. No teaching. Just straight football. Although Gary has put in every time that job has come open. Been overlooked due to administration saying he wanted too much money? But then again he might be happy at Boyd?

As alumni id like to see Cleveland go after the following: 1) Gary Rankin name speaks for itself. Put in for Cleveland every time it has opened up and was turned down. 2) Heath Weir- Cleveland alumni and good coaching resume 3) Tez Davis 4) Keith and Kevin Cobb

I just don’t feel he was progressing like he should have been at Iowa State? I feel like he was sorta going backwards? I’m down for this move as well. Fresh start can do amazing things. He is too good of a wrestler to not have AA.

Also hearing that Hunter Mason is wanting to go to Appy? I’d love to see it. Terrell, Little, and Mason right there in the lineup.

Read on some other posts that Iowa St guys are leaving due to how practices were being ran. The guys felt like their knees were being jeopardized and injuries were occurring in the room? Don’t know how true that is… And as far as Chittum goes yeah he committed to Minnesota prior to doing so well at Fargo. Once he earned his stop sign that was when Tom and Terry came calling. He would’ve stayed at Iowa but the Ferrari’s were supposedly coming and Cody didnt want to be a part of that circus. To me, I never felt like Cody fit in with Iowa St? I have a feeling he will be suiting up for Coach David Taylor.

Please explain the multiple state championships? I’m really interested in this.

Terrell is the starter for Appy moving forward. He earned that spot mid November.

I’ll chime in on this one as well. Last season Nolensville came to Bradley for their Senior Night. Full Line-up. When it came to Bryson Terrell’s match he forfeits to him. Knowingly that it was Sr night. They felt they could beat Bradley last season but it backfired. I get possibly injuring a kid? But it was the last time that “B” would wrestle in that gym in front of his home crowd. But I’ve heard from others that he is the say he is. And yeah Landon is going on to bigger and better things. The same was said about my cousin years ago when he signed with Oklahoma State. I was in my Sr year at UTC. I was told that he wouldn’t make it either and that I should I talk him into coming there as well. I told my coach some choice words picked up my stuff and left. That was my last practice for them. Rusty went on and did well. I mean hey they won 4 National Championships. And he started for John two years in a row. He’s just jealous of Landon.

I’m done with Cleveland and the BS. But remember we were here before you guys and we will be here afterwards. Enjoy your moment.

I mean how can you mention the names of Heath Eslinger, Damon Floyd, and Travis Adam’s at a Cleveland celebration. Not only that but have Alan Patterson cradling a Red Bank kid on the jumbo tron at the football game. They dont care about us. Never have…never will. I ain’t scared of ya by any means.

Hold on…some people aren’t telling the truth on why they really ended up at HCWC. I’m just sayin. There is more to some people’s stories. Im gonna let them explain in further detail(s) before I do.

I’m the liar? That’s what I was told back in the day as an assistant there at Cleveland. Am I making that up as well? Or maybe I’m making it up that I’m an alum. I mean it seems that the program itself only came about when the fore mentioned showed up? I mean I don’t have to say anything about what I did there. I mean what jumpstarted that program back before Knox and Bosken were my kids. Those that I coached from youth to even those on the middle and high school level. I’m just stating what I was told as an assistant. You can believe me or not. That’s purely up to you. I want my name off that wall and my pics out of that building. And to say I was Cleveland thru and thru and get hated on by these so called Cleveland faithful. Yeah y’all are faithful alright. My feelings aren’t hurt by any means. But every time I throw a fact up on here. It’s refuted like you were there? C’mon. We or at least I get it the Cleveland faithful don’t want to hear anything about the past. They don’t want to hear about the Championship teams mentioned before. Afraid they will be overshadowed. I’ll leave you with this…go ask Allan about the time I saved his kids butt from being ejected from the state tournament back in the day? Got mouthy with a police officer at the arena. Or better yet when he called me a liar and said I cussed out one of my middle schoolers. And confronted him and was literally heading to his office when he called to apologize and said it was a misunderstanding. Or when he paid me to haul his kid and his teammates around to tournaments in the Check Into Cash Van. im like Katt Williams at Club Shay Shay. Better recognize.
