yeah. nobody in West TN will be able to deal with South Side in 3A. Westview in 2A with Gibson County along with Huntingdon and they are all in the same district... crazy. a very good team will not make it to the substate game because the teams that go to a region championship in that district will go to a state tournament. Single A is McKenzie hands down. nobody is going to be able to handle them in West TN 1A. Hope the new South Gibson coach is ready for 3A...

I been saying this. it will take 2-3 years but no doubt plays a huge role in 3A. It will make District play and region play interesting. Especially with TCA and coach williams being a private school. He gonna get some kids 2A district Madison plays in is weak. Scotts hill, Riverside, Adamsville Madison and bolivar. Madison and bolivar play for a district championship every year

Who is going to Madison?

In 3 years South Side boys and girls will not be as dominant in basketball. JCM, TCA, JCS, Liberty, USJ, and Madison (if they hire a good coach) will get some of the talent that South Side has had in lock down. Soooo many good coaches in Jackson now. Also, South Gibson school district may be attractive to some parents looking for a different system!

He has been an assistant for a long time! Don’t know him but seems like he has done his time and stuck with it so I say good hire. He is committed or he would have got out a long time ago. Can he coach? Time will tell
