McCallie's catcher is named Dave Banks. He is one of the most underrated catchers in the state but he is very good. He is in his Junior year and is one of the best blocking catchers in the state. Not only does he have a pop time of 1.97, but he can also carry a stick. I'm confident that he will be a very vital part of McCallie's squad for the rest of this year and next.

Probably a couple of lucky games, just like this year.

You say that they will "hold their own" but are they really going to be that good in our league. You have to consider the fact that competition is much different in DI than it is in DII. Do you really think that Ravenwood will actually be better than teams like Webb and Farragut?

I dont know whether or not this was said yet, but i think Penn, Scales and someone else from MUS might play at UT. But that is just a rumor... Confirmation?

That is very true...goalie stats dont mean anything. You have to factor in how well his defense plays and their affects on the goals scored, and also his ability to clear the ball and work the defense. There is sooooo much more to being a goalie than just save/shot percentages.

I know this is random, but i have to give props to cbhs for really stepping it up this year. I saw the 1st MUS game and was in the mccallie game and was very impressed with their performance. They have really come out of the dust this year and i wish them luck in the tourney. What grade is taylor in?

If McCallie beats MBA, what are the playoffs going to look like?

To add to that...McCallie's middie lines are made up of two senior and trhe rest juniors and sophomores. They are definitely solid for the next two years, especially with the presence of Williamson, and the Young twins.

McCallie's Tom Jackson is a very solid defender. He has stepped up in a lot of games to shut off bigtime shooters. I think he has a shot at all state this year, along with grapski.

Jimbo is like 1/16th indian...hes pretty good
