The key to Farragut will be QB. He has done a pretty good job in games where he is comfortable and his first read is open. If he is pressured or has to look off 1st receiver to 2nd or 3rd receiver he has trouble. West and Maryville rattled him and he was a non issue the entire game.

I wouldn’t say ALL schools in Knoxville are recruiting. I would be willing to bet my paycheck that Hardin Valley, Farragut and Bearden aren’t recruiting. I know of one of the Powell freshmen that played on every youth football team in Knox County. His dad has shopped him around like it’s Black Friday. Stuff like this is what’s hurting high school football.

Worst coaching by Farragut I’Be ever seen! Offensive Play calling lost that game for Farragut! Farragut’s DBs couldn’t cover a single bed with a king size sheet! Oak Ridge just flat out out coached Farragut. In recent years Farragut has had some big play makers and it made coaches look decent and sometimes good. This is a down year and it shows what type of coaching Farragut has. Both teams don’t have the big playmakers they are used to but the better coaching staff won that game.

Bradley has that stud WR but they have a QB that can’t throw but can run for days. They barely targeted the big time WR in the Farragut game. If they move the QB to RB or slot and had a QB that could throw the ball they would be a serious high power offense. With all that being said poor Heritage will have a long night and looks like another long season.

Clinton lost to CAK. That tells me all I need to know about Clinton. Hall’s starters will be done at halftime.

I remember the days when Alcoa fielded teams made up mostly of kids that lived In Alcoa. Now they have kids from As far as strawberry plains and everywhere in between. Farragut has has one of if not the toughest regular season schedule and scrimmaged Central in the spring and Greeneville this summer so I don’t really know what you’re getting at.

Boy I missed that one. It might be a long season for the Admirals. Farragut is still in need of a running game. Not very creative playing calling. Way to many dive plays with no success. Don’t have the line or RB for the plays they are calling. Special team play almost lost the Bradley Central game and I feel like it lost this game. Farragut had momentum until the fumbled punt. The bright spot was that defense played pretty good. I don’t understand why #1 was not in the game on defense ALL the time. I am also confused why we punted the ball when we where down and had less than 3 minutes on the clock?

It’s weird how so many people get so excited when a team beats Farragut. I’ve never figured that out. Especially from fans that their school doesn’t even play Farragut.

Well said but I disagree with the statement that Evans was needed to spark the offense. Once Wilkinson was named the starter in 2017 Evans only saw playing time once the game was pretty much in hand and the coaches were comfortable with the game. Any game that was close Wilkinson played the entire game. I was in the camp that Wilkinson should’ve gotten more snaps to help his stats for recruiting.I Haven’t seen White at RB yet but he’s a good athlete .I don’t remember him being very big last year but he’s an exciting player. I bet he still plays a lot of defense. I bet they play him on defense kinda like they did Gibbs last year. Seems like they had another RB last year that played some when Gibbs was hurt. Did he graduate?

0-0. Farragut receivers dropped 2 TDs and couldn’t catch a cold most of the 10 min quarter. QB looked good. Fulton looked like they may be down a little this year.
