Covington must be slower than LC then because saw many instances where UC athletes were just as fast as chargers speedsters.

Hope the Chargers get their lights working before their first home game. It was a little dark on the field last night.

This one should be fun and competitive. Two historic rich programs going at it. Saw some good things last night at jamboree and one thing is that this bunch enjoys hitting you so LC buckle the chin straps.

It is truly amazing the championships that have come out of west TN and I guess same region (7) since 2013 in A and AA. Trenton has won 4. UC has won 3. Dresden 1. Lake County 1 and now Westview 1. Dominance.

Where will this be played

Agree with that. I have not seen MAHS play but here they are really talented. Got a division one player so that’s definitely a good advantage

I think Westview wins this one. Fairley has some good athletes and when they get in open field they are electric. UC should have won this game but mistakes we made they capitalized on every single one.

No doubt about that. They did well stepping in the shoes of those lost for the year. Tell yours to keep pushing himself in the weight room. He will be a great one to carry on the lineman legacy. Thanks for your kind words

I’m very proud of this UC team for all they have gone through this year. Lost a very key senior lineman our left tackle to a devastating knee injury in the Milan jamboree. Keep him in your prayers as he had another surgery yesterday to repair some nerve damage. Lost another senior lineman 3rd game of the season ACL tear. Another senior defensive lineman also missed almost half the season with some health issues. Then you compound that with losing two high school classmates to very untimely deaths. Adversity was a very real thing this year for this team and it will make them better men in the long run. They never hung their heads. They never quit working. They never quit fighting. They never felt sorry for themselves. Heads held high. You represented this town well. Go UC!!!

They need to get back to highlighting the big bruisers up front that help these kids rack up these yards

We played there in 2019. Turf was not quite as plush as the turf at Dyersburg and Huntingdon. Not sure how old it is but it looked and felt worn

I hope this game is not at crump stadium. That field needed some TLC last time we were there. I think when Fairley coach left they dropped off a little but know they will still have some athletes.

Fairley has lost 1 and so has MAHS. They play each other Friday for 1 and 2. Mitchell more than likely will be 3. Oak haven and freedom prep play for 4 place.

Two weeks ago at Camden the water was bad on their field. It rained hard of course but just didn’t seem to drain well. At least this one will be played on one of the nicest fields in the state.
