I was thinking they were doing better on penalties, and turnovers this year. Last year it seemed they had 3 turnovers, and near 100 yards in penalties a game. I'd be interested in seeing how many they have at this point, and the yardage.

Not an excuse. Not an excuse at all. Some teams play better when they continue to play. Springfield is one of them. i.e. Indianapolis Colts when they would have best record in the league, have a first round bye and get demolished in the second round. I'm a Springfield fan. Dyersburg i know nothing about. I hear they're pretty good. Both games were close last year. I'd probably give the edge to Southside as the tougher game. Haywood looks the part (looked like a college team) Southside had athletes. I think I'd give the edge in coaching to Southside as well. Haywood also had to travel last year. New year though.

Lol. I follow them on Twitter, and they're still going hard in the weight room. All it takes is one bad night. Brentwood Academy has lost 2 straight, and had one of the longest win streaks in the State. Anything can happen DevilMan. Once the playoffs start they can't have one off night. Everyone is gunning for them. I think all 4A teams know who they're likely to see in the Championship.

I'm predicting either Springfield, or Southside out of the West vs. Greeneville or Maplewood, or Anderson County in the East. Don't all you Devil fans chime in at once. I know Greeneville is a machine. Machines break down sometimes

Montgomery Central caught them coming off a bye, and kinda out of sync. Not to mention MC is alot better than last year. I think YJP is firing on all cylinders now. I'm gonna say SP 35-CW 21.

I've been hearing there's been alot of trash talk coming from Greenbrier. That should make this a more interesting game.

Also there is way more to do in White House than it use to be. White House is growing. BDP has to be better than the new Mexican restraunt in town. It stays packed.

Actually the team last year was decently talented. So if we established that there has been talent that means it's either coaching, or scheme. Both of them fall back on the coaching staff. Maybe there needs to be a change.

I think they're calling for extreme rain and storms tomorrow. Alot of mid state teams are playing today.

No. It was alot of talk early in the season. Yall brought it on yourselves. Anyone that knows football knows Whitehouse benefitted from several circumstances that worked in their favor, but it showed in the play offs.

SPT lost everyone on the O line but the center. We had one returning starter on the D Line and he transferred, and got most of the skill positions back. So tell me again what that means? Admit it. Yall won the region when it was way down. It's different when kids have injury. You expect them back at some point. When you lose kids to graduation and transfers you have to develop kids from year to year. There are a couple of kids that cant be replaced, and three of them didnt play against yall last year.

How about this? Whitehouse wasnt very good last year! They played a bunch of cupcakes last year, and the Region was way down. Springfield would have beat them by 21 last year if the starting running back didnt get benched, and two starting WRs going down, which were also the starting CB and Safety. Last years Whitehouse team wouldnt have beat this years SPT, MC, or Creekwood. FACTS
