  1. I went back and looked at Coach Ts records and found a mistake from the other website, some games were entered multiple time, Haywood’s opponents overall record 72-73….Tullahoma’s opponents overall record 70-63….sorry about that One indirect connection between Tullahoma and Haywood….Tullahoma played Chester County and won 49-12….Haywood beat Lexington 16-0 and Lexington beat Chester County 34-0….for what that’s worth….Going to be another cold night but dry, can’t wait till Friday!!!
  2. Tullahoma plays a spread, that’s the same as Haywood? I looked for passing rushing stats, but Haywood doesn’t appear to upload to mxpps so couldn’t compare those.
  3. This game is set up to be slug fest between two teams with very similar stats, assuming i didn’t make any mistakes. Haywood 13-0, 550 pts scored, 118 pts allowed, opponents record combined 73-73…Last 4 years 45-11 Tullahoma 13-0, 489 pts scored, 111 pts allowed, opponents record combined 75-70…Last 4 years 42-8
  4. Thanks!!! In my opinion those PC kids has/had enough talent to beat anyone, just didn’t perform as a team. Good luck next year, lot of returning players.
  5. No need to correct me, I didn’t say anything about how PC should play championship ball!!!! But those trophy’s are from the past and not last years past….What I said is those past gold balls are exactly that, nothing but dust collecting paper weights. All you’ve done is talk about a rematch in the third round since that loss! It was a nice win no doubt, first time Tullahoma had ever beat PC. Sounds like your already counting your wins next year, awesome!
  6. No argument Tullahoma has never been in a championship game in football, we don’t have the steady flow of elite football athletes that some other programs do….we have been pretty good the last few years. Last years loss to Nolensville really stings, because the better team did not advance and I believe both the players and coaches were just to uptight that night. If my memory serves me right the 2 PC gold balls came in the mid 90s, these kids weren’t even born yet. The last 2 championships PC has been in were a blow out wins for the east….Tullahoma has home field Friday night because they have already beaten PC this year!!!! It was the tale of two halves, the first half Tullahoma beat the ears off PC…the second half Tullahoma tried to eat clock and PC made halftime adjustments and made it a game…Tullahoma beat the brakes of MC last night and PC beat a undefeated Harding C. Not sure how good Hardin C was since the other teams from their region were no match for Region 5 so I don’t know how impressive the PC win was last night, one thing is for sure we will find out in 6 days who the best team is in Region 5. Right now Tullahoma is the king, PC is going to bring their best, last team standing moves on!
  7. This is the matchup everyone wanted. Both teams at full strength. What are your thoughts?
  8. Easy to complain about coaches and administrators on a forum with made up names and no one sees your face….this should be a place where fans debate others fans about which team is best. BUT instead you, Cakeman, sweetness, epanther, have come and spew your hate!!!! I appreciate you ruining this forum!!!!
  9. No worries, we don’t mind flying under the radar! Plus no need to look ahead, Wildcats got a hungry Indian team to deal with Friday night.
  10. Montgomery Centrals defense is legit they held Tullahoma to 23 offensive points, Marshall County to 17 points, and Pearl Cohn to 16 points. So for the season MC scores 22.6 points a game while surrendering 9.9. Plus, there is no doubt that MC’s coach is good at developing a game plan. The downside to their team is they struggle to score points, they had 7 against Tullahoma, 8 against Pearl Cohn, and 22 against Marshall County. Tullahoma scored 37 against MC, 24 against Pearl Cohn, and 28 points against Marshall County. For the season Tullahoma scores 38.7 points per game while surrendering 8.8. I believe this game will be close for the first half. MC will have to either focus on stopping the run or the pass, but it’s difficult to do both. With all of Tullahoma’s players being healthy, they are able pass and run pretty efficiently. Then add into the mix a kicker that puts 90% of his kickoffs into the end zone, so your offense has to drive the length of the field…Tullahoma 38-7.
  11. As predicted 3 of the 4 teams from Region 5 advanced to the second round; therefore, we get a rematch between the first place team and the third place team from Region 5. What are your thoughts on this game?
  12. It’s Game Day!!!!! A big congratulations to Justus Chadwick for being named a finalist for Mr. Football Kicker of the year….Tullahoma is proud of you and glad your a part of this football team! Go Wildcats! Tullahoma 38- Chester County 14
  13. I don’t know why the past is being brought up, because it has nothing to do with this season. But to clarify, MC was down 27-0 at halftime in the second round of the playoffs last year. I am not sure what happened in MCs locker room; but, I assume some type of fight…after about 40 minutes the game announcer came over the PA and warned both teams and their fans that there would be no further issues or the game will be halted! The game resumed and finished without further incident There were no Tullahoma players involved. I enjoy debating about which team will win and why….While I believe MC is a good team, I believe HC’s passing attack will be to much for MC.
  14. This is the first every meeting between Chester County and Tullahoma. Chester C. is 5-5 and averages 22 ppg while allowing 25. Tullahoma is 10-0 for the second straight year even after changing regions and having 6 new opponents, 4 of which they had never played before this season. Tullahoma averages 38 ppg while allowing 8.5. Will Chester play spoiler or will Tullahoma take care of business? What are your thoughts?
  15. The PC/MC came down to the 4th quarter, I think MC was up 8-0 and then a final of 16-8….Anyone know the details?
  16. I believe of the undefeated teams this is the pecking order until it’s proven different on the field. Three of these 4 teams are on the west and I know the west has not faired well in the championship game, I believe this could be the year! 1) Greeneville’s opponents are 45-45 and the Devils have scored 553 points to surrendering 79. 10-0 (Last 4 years 41-7) 2) Tullahoma’s opponents are 42-49 and the Wildcats have scored 328 points to surrendering 85. 9-0 with 1 regular season game left. (Last 4 years 38-8) 3) Haywood’s opponents are 40-48 and the Tomcats have scored 368 points to surrendering 59. 9-0 with 1 regular season game left. (Last 4 years 42-11) 4) Hardin County’s opponents are 38-53and the Tigers have scored 364 points to surrendering 67. 9-0 with 1 regular season game. (Last 4 years 39-7)
  17. Pearl Cohn and Montgomery Central playing for 2nd Place….Greenbrier and Marshall County playing for the 4 and final spot. Winner of PC/MC gets 2nd place and loser gets 3rd place MC beats Greenbrier and MC will get final position; but, if Greenbrier can win and Creek Wood can beat Lawrence County Greenbrier would be the 4th place team. Lot of things in play the last week or regular season games. What are your thoughts?
  18. I believe they need Creek Wood to beat Lawrence County, since LC has the head to head win over Greenbrier. Definitely going to make for an exciting Friday night to see who gets the last playoff spot.
  19. Greenbrier quarterback and linebacker #19 are really good and should be very dangerous next year. I also want to give a shout out to the voice of greenbrier, Jim Sorrells, for being so complementary of Tullahoma’s football pregame experience and band!!!
  20. Greenbrier travels to Tullahoma for the first ever matchup between these two teams. The Bobcats kept the short handed Pearl Cohn in check for most of their game last week; but, in the end we’re shut out 28-0. Tullahoma was able to take care of Lawrence County 35-0. The Wildcats hope to lock down home field advantage on senior night. Can the Bobcats play spoiler and upend the Wildcats? Thoughts?
