Poor coaching, dirty paid off refs, weather, etc. Don’t worry about us and Celina its gonna be a good one. I guarantee you this there’s a whole lot of respect for the Bulldogs in Gordonsville. All I am saying is you think your 9-0 instills a little fear or doubt in our bunch your wrong. You’ve won 9. 1 loss don’t end your season but 2 sure will!

Well, I guess we’ll find out how much better you are Friday night. I mean we just did get through playing Hartsville so we got pretty good idea how good they are. As far as gifting us the game maybe it was. You have made it clear you are a better team now. I am saying you ain’t the only better team and we are a lot healthier than we have been since Carthage. To me it’s like some of these geniuses trying to guess outcomes by common opponents. Sorry it don’t work. End of the day we will take care of business Friday Night and so will the Jackets.

Hopefully they embrace it more than anything cause it can be gone in a second. I expect it to be a good one. Good coaching staff, Dickerson has been a longtime friend; some special athletes, always had them though even back in my day Ogletree, Hull, Watson, Arms; and hopefully a group of fans that support these young men and travel to show it. Edge Tigers! Experience in this game, a coaching staff that knows this type of game, an experienced group of players that have overcame and persevered, and an extremely hostile fanbase that will try and become a Twelfth Man.

Jimmy I can answer that! Yes they do! So does Carthage! Maybe they could? I just find it odd a certain few teams always get better as the season goes along and the teams that beat them don’t.

Boarhog it will be a playoff atmosphere Friday on Main Street! This is a time of year when the good teams hit another gear and the great teams are speed shifting. The old saying is act like you been there and act like you’ve done it before. We have. Hartsville has. South Pitt has. We know what to expect and what it takes. Disrespect? Absolutely not. Is it arrogance? Maybe. Is it confidence? Most definitely. We will expect a war. You should too!

Heard Arms dropped a few in the bucket last night. Good to hear the kid is back. It’s interesting Celina has been waiting a year for this one. I mean disposed of 9 opponents and dreamed of the day for a rematch against the Tigers. Impressive for sure!

All this mess on here about this and that. Bunch of 15,16,17, and 18 year olds playing the game we all love. Anything might happen! Personally just want both teams to come out and compete and leave the game injury free! What is interesting is there’s a couple of fellas on the Patriot staff familiar with the SP/Gordonsville/Hartsville feuds throughout the years. I say 0% chance the Patriots overlook the Pirates! Fully expect to see you Patcheyes on n a few weeks.

Calls were wrong calls were good! Bah the officiating in Tennessee has gotten so inconsistent it’s horrible! For me it’s more a knowledge of the actual rules that bothers me. Now that rant is out of the way I do want to address something. To many close to the program and a few closer to Clem, Coach Clemons of Gordonsville, it is known how much he thought of Coach Henry of Coalfield. From what we know Coach Henry’s widow, I hate that dang word, and more of the Coalfield bunch made sure our kids were fed and taken care of before a long trip home from Morgan County. I truly hope someone will pass along how appreciative the Tiger family is of the hospitality and care shown for our kids. Bless Mrs. Henry and the Coalfield Program! You have a gem up there in Morgan County.

There has been a huge announcement and I can guarantee its gonna be a party! Now normally this one is reserved for A warm August evening. Not this year!! Saturday August 21, 2021! Well, thats laughable. There are good folks up on the mountain. I am sure they got a bitter taste in their mouths when they got that tiny taste of being the top cat in our region last year and lost it this year. I hope they have success in 2A.
