  1. I did not get to go to this game...much to my displeasure...but i heard from a good friend of mine that he was disgusted to pay $5 to see the Grace guys play half-heartedly. So i got the impression that it was more the Grace guys just not playing hard or up to par that made this game so close. Is this correct? Someone correct me if this is not the way it actually was. I know that CSAS has improved much over the past bunch of games, but i would agree with volsbigd that i dont think they have the talent to beat Temple or Grace. I was at the first game between Grace and CSAS and Grace thrashed them. And i heard that Temple beat 'em pretty easily just about a week ago i think it was. So i know that they are a good team, but Grace and Temple are just too good.
  2. Are you kidding me?? You are trying to get this stirred up again?? That is the biggest load of crap ever. I was standing right there when "that player" fell into the crowd last year and nothing of the sort happened. All i have to say is that i dont think the bleachers there pose much of a safety risk. In the couple of years that they have been there, no one has been hurt by running into them. I think it is fine, and it gives our home games a little more flair.
  3. LoveLamp what the heck are you talking about?? Why would Wheeler try to start something, and especially with a fan after winning a huge game? And coming off of having a broken hand? Just doesn't line up. Don't get on here and post stupid ors and try to get things stirred up. And im tired of hearing crap about his legs...you guys are just showing how juvenile and immature you are... not the way i would want to be known. Great win Grace!! And Temple played well too...we just had the ball last.
  4. ok....so if i feel like posting my oppinion then im supposed to get on here and act like we are going to win. and if you look back i didnt say we couldnt win, i said we didnt have a great chance. we will show up ready to play the best we can on friday night. myself and the whole grace team have by no means given up. i am just one person saying that the chances are in favor of South Pitt. They are #2 in the state in the AP Pole...so they must be pretty good. and football time...do i know you? you obviously know who i am, so if you feel like it then send me a private message or give me initials or a hint or something
  5. hey man...i really dont know who you are...so i dont know if you know me or not. but when i post on this message board, i post facts. im sorry, but im just being realistic. also, if you know me then you would also know that even IF i dont think we can win then that doesnt mean that i will be giving any less during practice in the week or any less during the game.
  6. i would have to say that grace really doesnt have much of a shot. South Pitt is too good and it's their homecoming so...yeah
  7. Whitwell came out and just flat out wipped them in every aspect. grace didnt help themselves either. grace fumbled a ton of times and threw 2 int's (a couple of those turnovers could be contributed to good play by Whit., but not nearly all of them). but what drinks3 is true...it wasent much of a game. grace came out strong on their first offensive drive and scored quick, but they couldnt do anything the rest of the game. Whitwell's offensive ran at will. Edit: Let's not have any accusations of anyone calling anyone else names during the game especially for racial reasons and on specific players. It might have happened, it might not have, but there's no proof that can be put on here. If you're connected with the Grace program and have a problem with anything that happened in the game, I'd get your principal to talk to the principal from Whitwell and see if something can be worked out so it won't happen again-IF-it did.
  8. should be a good game in my oppinion. whitwell deffinitely has a few advantages; depth and experience being two of the biggest. now grace has a pretty decent team and will put up a fight, but im not sure if it will be enough against a team like Whitwell. Grace is only a 2nd year team, but ill think they will come out to play. Whitwell has a strong running attack, but their passing game is kinda lacking. Grace has decent running and passing attacks. I think the whole key to this game is who is going to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Grace's line has been shakky (did i spell that right?), but they have improved every game. I actually predict a defensive and low scoring game. who takes this?...not really sure but i give the edge to whitwell good luck to both teams on saturday
  9. Howdy there gracekeeper, mr. mexican, and my man big D. how goes it yall? Its been fun watchin our s this year. its dissapointing hearing of their loss to CAK tho. And dont give up on our guys team just yet...
  10. i wasent at the ...but i talked to my father who made the trip and saw the . He said that it really was a good . both teams played well in both sides of the ball. the difference maker was Brandon Tarr. he made all three of CAK's goals and 2 of those were unassisted. grace only got 1 shot on goal, which tributes to CAK's good back line, but CAK only got 6 shots, and three of those going in by Tarr. my dad said that Grace really controlled the midfield very well and both teams controlled the ball overall about the same. AWESOME SEASON GRACE!! I am proud to be a Grace Golden Eagle! Have a safe trip back...we all love you guys! Great CAK, and good luck in the rest of the tourney
  11. i know for sure that Jon Moss and Carlos Sanchez from Grace made it...but excuse my ignorance, i guess there is a 1st team. im not sure if they made 1st team.
  12. Im not going to be able to come to the tonight, but i would like to wish both teams good luck and i hope the goes great! Grace is on a role and i cant see them losing now, but as everyone knows, anything can happen. I will not be there in body, but i will be there in spirit...GO GRACE!!! Grace fans get pumped for this like we have the last two and help them win a trip to memphis!! I also want to say good luck to CCS on your at Columbia. Make Chatt town proud!
  13. wow...another amazing . not the most action, but it was still great. and i do believe that i called a 1-0 Grace win in a defensive battle. i want to give it up again to the grace fans for helping to take this team to a new level with their support from the stands. i do believe and hope that both Grace and CCS will win their sectional and go to Mephis. i would also like to say that i was impressed with the sportsmanship from the CCS players. GO GRACE!!!! YEAH!! WOO!!! YEAH!!! WOO!!! YEAH!!! WOOO!!!
  14. very nice post sportdude...very informative and i appreciate it greatly. about grace talking too much on here: its the fans that do all the talking, not the players. the players arnt even allowed to post on this website. if they are caught then its big trouble. we grace fans just like to have fun and talk it up. half the time we post things just to get things stirred up and get things going about a . i mean, anyone that was at the Grace vs CSAS knows that the grace fans like to have a lot of fun and be loud and support our team. also, to tell you the truth, what grace's players hear about what is being said on coacht gets them fired up as well. thank you DD for the shoutout. i think tomorrow is going to be an amazing . i will agree that i think it will be a defensive battle and the winner will take the win with one goal. I will be there being loud and crazy along with many other grace fans and im pulling for the eagles all the way. i predict a 1-0 win for grace, but i realize CCS is a great team and it could very easily go the other way. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS!!
  15. dont care personally...but ill say CSAS because of my strong dislike of boyd
  16. thank you DD...was a masterpiece tonight!!
  17. wow puff...what have you got against carlos? im sorry that you are blinded from the truth. i would also say that CSAS outplayed grace in the first half but the eagles stepped it up a notch in the 2nd. i also want to give it up to the fans for grace that really got the team going and helped them pull out a hard fought victory! i cant wait for the on thurs. from what ive heard CCS is a wicked good team and the should be one to remember. boyz, bring home the region crown!!
  18. haha...a grace win and a boyd loss...could this night get any better? and i am glad to see that tuffnstuff man is owning up to his stupid comments.
  19. where did mr. boyd buc go??...hmm, the guy didnt have an argument and he knew it all along.
  20. how did David G. fare in the regions today??
  21. your obviously the boyd soccer expert...why dont you tell me why Boyd cant beat Grace?
  22. fluffnpuff...you my friend are the joke...haha...all you can do is laugh
  23. i think the funniest thing in the world would be to see Boyd lose against CCS and then they can whine about how they outplayed grace in the district tourney and should have been playing CSAS. everything plays out tomorrow. i dont know anything about CSAS or CCS outside that ive heard they are both good teams. i think both will be very good and close. suffnpuff...whatever your name is...come on dude...the fact is that Grace beat your beloved Bucs twice this year on there HOME FIELD. those two werent small either. the first one was senior night and the second was for the district championship. now i would have to say that those two should be two of the hardest played of the year for the Bucs. yet Grace won them both. im not saying outright that Grace is a better team then Boyd, but its hard to argue with 2 HUGE wins on 2 HUGE nights with the Bucs having home field advantage BOTH times. maybe grace just has that intangible that Boyd just cant overcome!?
  24. very true...rankings really go out the window at this point, and i am looking forward to seeing how the road to memphis pans out.
