So your saying Gibson county, TCA, Huntingdon , Union City, Jonesboro and more are not good teams???? Gibson County still in state tournament and TCA won their state championship and had only one loss to greenfield.

Wow. Looks like all sports and sports fans are fixing to go through a very very difficult situation. Not sure if I can even think of any sport that hasn’t suspended, postponed or canceled all activities at this point. I really feel like if the media will calm down and not panic this will go away rather quickly

I think for most part everybody is just partial and defending their own team which is normal. I really think the way the tournament has been handled has all fans a little on the bitter side due to not getting to play it as planned so far and things got a little testy which is to be expected cuz who would have ever dreamed of having to deal with this. Maybe and it’s a big maybe they will figure out a way to finish the tournament and somebody will be the 2020 champions and then move on to the 2020/2021 season

There has been just as many or more jabs from GC fans on here as any other fans from another other team Of course Everybody is going to be partial to their team and that’s the way it should be. But no need to take a jab at another team and when it gets jabbed back start whining and crying. Post a negative post be able to take a jab back

Thanks for making such a good level headed post. Everybody knows GC has lots of tradition and still a good team but it’s so obvious to anyone and everyone that knows anything about basketball that the greenfield team this year is very special and in another league due to a few of their high caliber players like Darby and Moore Every year is different with each schools team. 2019 was GC but this years Greenfield team has just been phenomenal

I will go along with that about this years team. Wilkins doesn’t have the two twins that Rogers has on this years team . They are very good scrappy ballplayers that can handle the ball and both score.

I agree totally. Coach Wilkins will always have his team well prepared for every game Same for Coach Rogers they are well prepared and play hard Sad day they cancelled with 4 teams ready to go tomorrow

If you will read I stated coach Wilkins is a great coach which he is but to make comment that he is BEST in the tournament? I just mentioned how successful coach Rogers has been and still is.

That’s true y’all did beat westview this Year and greenfield beat y’all by average of 24 points so not sure westview would beat greenfield like you say

Wilkins is a good coach but Just Curious how many championships Wilkins has? I believe coach Rogers has several more than him. I am pretty sure Rogers has more rings than Wilkins does appearances at the state tournament

What was the score in season with Neal playing? If I remember correctly it was a running clock?? Also I was told that GC sat back and was content to let the clock tick in the 4th quarter. Sounded to me like gc haD waved the white flag in the fourth quarter Not saying it would have been 30 points but gc is the one that allowed them to hold ball

That’s comical coming from the one who is always talking about players lost from last year team, refs letting greenfield get away with fouls, players transferring, where the region was hosted last year and more. So I think I would go easy on making comment about “excuse” and “yata”.
