Not much talk for this game latley. I guess everyone is going to let their play on the field do the talking. I like that. Should be a great series can't wait to see how it turns out. Go Oakland.

ohs wins a close one 8-7 over blackman. a really great game. showed a lot of heart and that ohs is not goin down. this team will scrap for a win, great job tonight by tyler bowman pitching 6 and 2/3 soild innings. tye got the win for ohs he great also. way to step up guys... lets go to riverdale and see if we can beat them. I think but im not sure siegel over Warren county 7-6. Im pretty sure the game went 8 innings.

Oakland 6 Blackman 4 Rusty Howard pitched the first 5 innings for Oakland and Tyler Burnett pitched the last 2 for the save. Great job tonight! I saw that Riverdale was losing 1-0 to White County it was early in the 3 inning to early to tell. Keep us posted on how the game goes. Good luck to everybody.

Drew had his first varsity career homerun the other night against siegel. The ball went half way up the light pole in left field. Give drew some time and he will be up there.

Oakland Riverdale tomorrow at 3pm

The final score was 9-7. Oakland gave up 8 runs in the first and then a solo shot to cody harrell. It was 9-2 goin into the last inning. Oakland came back 9-7 and oakland has got 1st and 3rd with 2 outs and mitch warren up to bat. He battles pretty hard but then he strikes out ending the game. Oakland played great defense with only 1 error. and riverdale gave up 3 errors. 2 coming in the last inning. Cant wait for round 2 tomorrow. good luck to both teams tomorrow!

I predict a split each with both teams winning at home. I hope oakland can get on a roll with just a week left until district tournament and hopefully then can make some noise in the post season. If you have a 9 run lead, then you hit the ball to get that 9 run lead, so you shouldnt have to steal to get anymore runs.

So your saying stealing bases is playing hard when your up 9 runs in a game. Thats busch league to me.

I wasnt blaming the umpires on the teams lose tonight. i was just simply saying that oakland had a few calls go against them. cookeville played great i will give them major props but when one of the guys from oakland gets shoved in the chest that has to be an automatice suspention. and i agree if the team plays well enough then a few calls that went against you will not hurt you.

Cookeville with the help of the umpires won tonights game against oakland. In the early going oakland's cory sorgenfri was coming around third and on his way to home, when the throw beats him there and he is tagged out. but it was more than a tag, it was a strong shove to the chest. cory got up and said a few words and should of ended up as an ejection of the catcher. and with an 8 or 9 run lead the cavs were stealing. i mean come on how much busch league can you get in one game.

I Believe Oakland has a chance to sweep this series. Oakland is starting to come around on offense and on defense. And there pitching is coming around too. If you think about it when oakland played blackman and warren county they played awful defense, had no hitting, and pitching was alright, but not what it is right now. i just think oakland has to sweep these next 2 games to be in the district race. look for some younger guys to step up in this series and help pull oakland to victory.

Well it was quite a slugfest tonight. With Rusty Howard gettin his first homerun of the season. P.J. Polk hit another homerun and that gives him 2 and he is also on fire. He got on everytime against white county. Freshman Tennyson Dodd had 2 homerun tonight. one was a grandslam. wow! ive never seen a freshman hit 2 homeruns in a game. That was all part of a 14 run 4th inning for the pats. well oakland also played great defense, and pitching was huge. Rusty pitched the first four innings and Josh Farmer finished it up.
