Powell played ZERO starters vs Bearden, as did Bearden. They were last game of day and had agreement to play all back ups, and role players. Powell dominated the day yesterday though! When Powell's ones were on the field, it was a HUGE difference in talent.

I am sure Josh Jones is flattered that a bunch of adults have created a thread on Coach T about him.......and it is trending.....that's all......carry on.

Josh is a great coach, and a "players coach" Josh has always had the players to be successful. Not sure about Bearden's roster, but I am sure they don't have the studs that Powell has had and has. It may take him sometime to get that place rolling. But make no mistake about it....Josh can coach some ball!

It's not so much about winning games, as it is the dislike people have for him. Not sure why they dislike him? Not to familiar with his past.

Lowe more than holds his own in that department

Powell has had a bullseye on there back since Lowe has been back....lol they will be fine. Losing a lot on D (and not just Nolen) Offense returns just about everyone.

Not surprised they had to go out of state to hire a coach. They probably couldn't get a TN coach to interview for that job. Lenoir City is a tuff job IMO.

Not to mention smart move for him. Especially if he wants early playing time. Cause the current QB at Catholic is the going to be the clear cut starter.

What if the player contacted him?

The kid from "Catholic" is a middle school QB. He played for the rec team is all. He is not a current Catholic player. A lot of kids play for variouis middle school teams and never had any interest or desire to go to the HS that, that team fed. So nothing illegal is happening here.

Well he didn't play. Walter played back in the day in the game. The rules for him running future stars is that he can not be a coach. Witch he has never been. I suggest you google Walter Nolen and read up on the story of how he ended up at Powell. Not hard to find. Educate yourself before posting false information. tnx

The younger Nolen did not play in the Future Stars game. Stop spreading rumors..SMDH
