knights gave valley all they wanted but may have lost their best rb in the process. longhorns improved from week one but still the mistakes got them their first loss. if jc cleans it up some more, knights will have their first conference loss. longhorns are still a very young team and it showed Friday. Sullivan north was pretty impressive but jc has some good players and will be tough to beat if they play mistake free football. I like the longhorns to bounce back and win by 2 touchdowns. to much speed for the knights.

jc fumbled 3 times inside the twenty against east and a couple flags kept them out another time. Elizabethton will score but east is better than the last couple years

all those good teams in the west and only one gets to see Alcoa at the end of the year. not sure if some of them are for real or not

going to be a good game. big game tomorrow at valley as well

hv speed will hurt cd a lot. but cd has back against the wall after one loss already. this game is on Thursday night so we all can watch

one of these 2 teams is a pretender and in for a rough season. we will see who Friday. Unicoi and Hampton both struggled in opener.

Cloudland is hearing a lot of people cutting them down right now. 1 coaching is down 2 lost Jordan coffee 3 no depth 4 school closing 5 talent is not there 6 the list could go on and on They are going to be playing with a chip on their shoulder and will be a tough out for the smaller Happy Valley. Speed vs Size match up and will be a good one.

I hope db can return and be the best team in the state every year. my only concern is hearing about players moving to other schools such as Elizabethton for example. sounds like coaches are doing a great job. it would be great if region 1 could win more state titles in others classes besides 4-a. nobody respects region 1. good luck Indians!!!

I thought unaka played well last night against Hampton. looked like they could have scored if not for the time running out & at least 3 busted plays and some missed assignments. that coach has really improved the creek kids. I look for them to be better but still not good enough to beat Hampton but aleast score some points

coach mays might have been playing a lot of younger players or holding back keeping starters healthy, but still VERY IMPRESSIVE for little Hampton.
