If you can’t abide by TSSAA rules do you have to transfer to West Memphis?

I’m still waiting to hear what these boys need to do for you to respect them. Is it always championship or bust? I wish the coach would have let you play a little, but you have to let it go now.

If you are 1a school and graduate a class of seniors and then 5 of your top players transfer out it would be devastating to any other school 1a school in the state. Unless you are from Memphis or Greenback.

I know it’s apples and oranges as far as towns. But everyone has (should have) to play by the same rules as far as recruiting or playing kids that live in a certain area. If not you should have to play up or in division 2. That goes for all classes.

No I have to disagree. In 1a football you play the kids that grow up in your town and go to school in your town. Studs from Mckenzie don’t play in Huntingdon. You play with the kids in your school year in and year out. Studs from Mckenzie don’t play in Huntingdon. Studs from Huntingdon don’t play in Camden. Heck, kids from Huntingdon won’t wear red and kids from Mckenzie won’t wear blue. Unless you are Greenback or in a area that play on the fringes of the rules that 97 or 98 percent that every else follows.

The reason is 2 and 3a past seasons were brought up. I’m just making a point that seasons past has very little to do with this season.

If y’all want to base everything on the past we can just stop playing now and give S. Pitt the 1a ball, Trousdale the 2a and Alcoa the 3a. This ain’t last season or the past 50 for that matter. This is a new season and the Freedom Prep/ Huntingdon semifinals game is going to be a good one! Will it be played here or in Memphis?

1a football isn’t about attracting studs. If you are getting players for football that is a violation and should be playing in districts with the private’s. But really who regulates Memphis schools?

Calm down. Do at least two of you sit in a room and every time someone types a capital L you jump on here together to defend LCs good name? Has LC held opponents to zero touchdowns? Freedom Prep has. It’s ok. You guys have good team. Just my opinion that I think Prep has your number this year. You have to play them before we would. If we make it. I just feel like it is a waste of my time arguing with y’all when we will probably play Prep instead. Good day.

I don’t think LC will make it. They will lose to Freedom Prep before Huntingdon gets their chance to thump em.

You are correct about Huntingdon having the Jackson Sun sewed up. As long as we both keep winning we will have their vote over LC. Not necessarily because Huntingdon is better but because they are selling papers for profit. I would go out on a limb and say Huntingdon buys more Jackson Suns than LC because we are in their coverage area. That and we can read

Bigster, looking at the papers listed should let you know that most that vote have no idea who is the best team. I would bet that Dyersburg and Union City press hasn’t seen a Huntingdon game in 3 years and someone from Johnson City has never seen one unless they were at a Championship game. You guys have even less press being up in the corner of the state. Polls ready mean nothing except to give us old heads something to bicker about.

Here’s the deal. If you’re down, take your lumps. Don’t run around and find players and act like a Private. Do things on the up and up and you don’t have to get your story straight. Believe me, the whole state is watching....
