  1. Ha. Got the heart still but not the legs anymore
  2. No way they achieve those numbers Friday night at The Pit
  3. Well both teams made it unscathed into game week. Should be a well of a high school football game at Shackle Island. The atmosphere around the stadium should be one of a kind. Last man out of town Friday afternoon shut the gate. Go Big G !!!!
  4. If you grow up in Gallatin there is no way you look past Hendersonville. I would rather walk through broken glass barefooted than to lose to them. I dont believe this staff will allow them to look past anyone, much less Hendersonville. This week will be a game of assignment football on defense. Hopefully we have gotten some players healthy and ready to make a run at the playoffs. GO BIG G
  5. Gallatin won't be a factor, heard that in 89. And for you noisy, ask your head coach about his one trip to Gallatin , how the ride home felt wondering what the heck just happened to them, 35-14. You have a long way to go before you catch us in tradition, 3 Gold balls and 4 silver in our trophy case at GHS. Your definitely not a big dog. Sure you have some BALLS in Henry County, but it sure seems it's a SMALL SET.
  6. What are the visitor side bleachers like at WC? What time would you recommend getting there to get a seat? Thanks in advance.
  7. Probably one of the better post I have read since coming to this site. I believe the coaching staff that we have now will not allow us to sleepwalk on anyone. As a player under Calvin Short, Jim Barron, Jerry Joslin, Don Porter, Steve Duke, Rufus Lassiter and Bill Colquitt, the discipline and will to do whatever it takes to win shown by this staff is enjoyable to watch. They have balls and charisma and I personally like the enthusiasm on the sidelines every Friday night. Should be another packed house Friday night at WC, but I like our chances and believe we roll to 6-0. GREEN WAVE PRIDE FOREVER
  8. We won it all as a senior and had runner up finish as a sophomore. And you?
  9. Easy to win state titles when you play ned and jed and there cousins. You guys pound your chest because you win a 1a title. Lol
  10. Kinda like losing to powerhouse elite Watertown. Lol. Stay on the creek bank and try not to drown
  11. He isnt a hater, you is just a wannabe wave. Come on Bruce, we have room for you and all comers on this G-TRAIN.
  12. How is he beating his chest? I believe he is one of the most unbiased posters on this board, unlike many. Sure he is all wave, but post significant post not just post seen through green wave glasses. Keep posting all you Wave fans on this site. A change at the top of the program has brought a lot of tradition and pride back to life in Gallatin and I for one am completely on board and bought in. GREEN WAVE PRIDE FOREVER
  13. One of my favorite rivalries for Gallatin as I was growing up and playing. Many memorable games in this series, from the 2-0 game when it was so foggy that you could hardly see the players, to the 14-0 game we played in a rainstorm that had puddles on the field up to our shins. Should be a very hard hitting old fashioned football game. I look for it to be a last man out of town, shut the gates turnout in Mt. Juliet this Friday night. I enjoy the fact that people still doubt this year's version of the green wave, but as a former player, the teams discipline, togetherness and toughness reminds of some of the Gallatin teams I grew up watching and that I had the privilege to play on. Keep doubting and we will keep proving the nah sayers wrong. GREEN WAVE PRIDE FOREVER!!!!
  14. BruceColetrain is definitely a wannabe wave. All the time I will waste on that assclown. Now to the game, it being moved to the wave yard can only help the wave. Expecting a great crowd for this one. Wave win a close one. GO BIG G !!!!!!!!
  15. I seem to remember a time when people said that Gallatin wouldn't be a factor. The intensity and the spirit this team plays with reminds me of teams I played on. The town seems to really be coming back around also. Packed house in only game 2, uh oh feeling like maybe the ghost of green wave past reering it's beautiful head a little. The next 2 weeks will show alot about this version of the green wave. Go Big G
  16. Gallatin wins by 4 touchdowns tonight.
  17. You speak as though you were there. You must have a lot of great memories of the way things used to go on Friday nights in Gallatin. I know I do. I am hopeful that th new regime running the Gallatin program will return us to those days. Hopefully that starts tonight. Go Big G.
  18. Lol that was a long time ago. Actually it was only 5
  19. Being a former player at Gallatin, I hope we come out with a great mind set on being physical. Lebanon will come over here with something to prove and try to establish the run game early. Hopefully our defense has improved this week. Maybe seeing this through green wave glasses but I think it's a close one and Trace hits a field goal to win it. We shall see. Good luck Green Wave.
  20. The Gallatin stadium looked very good last night and so did the first team offense on it's drive but the defense needs to learn to tackle. Way to many missed tackles. I understand Oakland is 6A but tackling is tackling and that is football. Better score alot if that's is our defense
