  1. I am happy for Chapel Hill with the hire. I believe this will be a great move for the program. Bringing in new blood is what the community needs. Yes Palmer had an issue in Shelbyville with an affair. That dosen't change what kind of coach he is. Hopefully he learned from his mistake and can motivate the young men in the program.
  2. Marshall Co. will compete better this time around. MC will have to keep it in reach all night. The coaches have to be confident for the players be confident. Just hoping for a injury free hard nose football game.
  3. Not much trash talking going on. Looks like both teams are taking this one seriously. With Marshall being one dimensional in passing will the game plan for tonight change? Will the o-line protect the QB for Marshall? Lots of sacks have been given up. PC will be hard to handle as long as they can keep their heads in the right place.
  4. I was fixing to post about this game. MC is going to have to play all 3 phases to win this game. Can they do it? I hear SC is a big team that will run it on you all night. That is MC weakness. Hopefully the defensive coordinator has simplified the process for MC and taught the guys to wrap up when they tackle this week. Should be a good game.
  5. When did Forrest QB get injured? This puts a kink in the game plan for Chapel Hill. I hope the young QB heals great and is able to return next year.
  6. Hats off to Shelbyville. They played a physical game. MC defensive coordinator needs to simplify his game plan and teach the boys how to tackle. Geesh... Offensive line lets the blitz come through like wind in a screen door.
  7. Forrest has never wanted to play MCHS. Coach Eli turned that down. The gate money alone would be great for both teams. Forrest principal tried to push for the 2 teams to play.
  8. What's everyones thoughts? Shelbyville scored quite a few last week and Marshall Co. beat a good Columbia Central team. Marshall Co. will have to keep getting physical and getting there play makers open. I see Teat having a great game and airing it out. Just my thoughts.
  9. Marshall Co. will have to do better than they did Friday night to compete with Columbia. Both D line & O line needs to be more physical. MC has the weapons but will they be ready for the trash talkin and the physical play of Columbia?
  10. Marshall Co. will have to stop the run. MC D line is solid and some hard hitters in the backfield. They will have to rotate more than normal to keep players fresh. MC offensive threat is strong as well. QB will be one to fire up his team and make things happen. This game is to close to call in my opinion.
  11. I thought this would be getting more of a response. I guess both teams will let the score talk. MC is playing good. The penalties continue to be a thorn in the side of the fans. Don't know much about Lexington except that they pound the ball every drive and eat the clock up.
  12. I do not see MC getting whipped up on in 5A. We beat Columbia & Shelbyville almost every year. Lawrence Co. and Tullahoma has moved up and we can win those games. Lincoln County & Spring Hill would not be an issue either. The gate $ would be a lot better wither closer teams.
  13. Marshall County should have moved up to 5A. How can you build a strong program when gate $$ will be nothing. An hour and a half drive to the nearest team does not make sense. I would rather get a loss a couple times a year and play better competition.
  14. Tullahoma wins the contest. LC just dosent have enough yet to compete.
