I don't think even Rankin can pull it off against this CPA team. The only loss is to a talented Pearl Chon team that may the fastest overall HS I have ever seen, and even that was a squeaker. They are playing mad after the blowout loss to LA in the Championship last year, and that being the same result as previous year, only worse. Seeing this reminds me that I ran into Hardrick's dad when MTCS was down. Had not seen him in years and was shocked he had a boy that young. I had not been made privy to that bit of information. I am to report back to the mayor on the quality of the food, drink and entertainment at Southside Social after our shindig. It is my understanding from unconfirmed sources that the jet lands at Lovell field at 11:00. It will have made 5 stops on the way, 3 in state and two out of state. The "guests" will be picked up and whisked to Southside Social adjacent to the stadium, where the mayor is hosting a private event from noon - 2:00 (ironically the team playing in the same slot the day before, with the same colors, are doing the exact same thing - there must be some connection here?). The mayor will then take the guests to her private suite in the stadium to watch the game and receive their gift bags. Afterwards, they will be able to meet the team, and spend time with the coaching staff before returning to the airport for their flight home.

If we can pull it out Thursday, y'all get it on Friday and Oakland gets Saturday, that will be a good weekend for Cougar.

Looking at Houston - they may be the most balanced team Oakland has played all year. The Sr. RB is strong as is their Jr. QB. He spreads it around to a good corps of receivers. They do all this behind a big solid O line. On D they are good sized and quick which locked down a pretty good Brentwood offense. Everyone knows what Oakland will do, no need to repeat any of it.
