  1. Im sorry I was trying to say I didn’t want to highjack it . Not saying you were. I seen where BPM ask the question.
  2. Same. Both teams off to a hot start. Will be a great game! But this is a Milan- Lexington thread so won’t say anymore about that matchup on here.
  3. You sound confident in that. I dont see that happening!
  4. Hate to hear that. Prayers for those guys to be back 100% soon!
  5. What about the D lineman that went down in the McNairy game. Was his injury bad?
  6. I thought it was a little better than a pasture myself. O well may have to go up early Friday and throw the patties out of the pasture before game time. Lol
  7. No QB graduated last year. Starting a sophomore at the position. We only returned 4 starters I think on offense.
  8. When did McNairy start playing in a pasture?
  9. Hard to predict these big rivalry games. Milan wanting that first win on new field, SG gonna do everything they can to keep them from getting it. No motivation needed for these kind of games. Both teams will bring it. I’ll be keeping an eye on this score.
  10. Don’t know how this one shakes out. McNairy 0-2 Westview 2-0 but the competition we’ve played lot tougher. Hardin county and Peabody really good football teams. Our special teams really hurt us against the tide. 3 blocked punts. Give up touchdown on kickoff. But I do believe we can move the ball better on Westview’s defense than our first two games. But if we give up 40pts again we lose again. Pretty simple!
  11. Congrats on the win last night. Peabody got a good football team. OL and DL really good. Our special teams killed us. I will also say I’ve run the chains for a lot of games and Peabody runs one of the most organized and composed sidelines I’ve seen. Very respectful young men and coaches. Class act all the way around. Good luck the rest of the way
  12. I agree polls don’t mattter. I am a Hardin County fan and no way would I put them ahead of the Jackets in a poll. I mean they knocked HC out of the playoffs two yrs in a row. I got much respect for Springfield!
  13. I’m not hearing anything different as of right now.
  14. I think you have a valid point there. I just would like to see us play smart football. Sometimes I think when you go into a game were you may be outmatched, coaches can get the mindset that you have to hit home runs on offense to play with championship caliber teams. I think the game although maybe do the dislike of fans can still be played 3 and 4 yards at a time and with really good teams you want to limit there possessions. I just think you can stay in a game longer with that mentality some of the time. O course 3 and 4 yards are hard to get against these kind of defenses.
  15. Exactly right. East and west won’t fly with this defense. You’ll be in the negative yardage quick!!
  16. Good question. Dont look like anybody has had a good answer to that question. I think everything got to be quick. No slow developing plays. May have to roll the QB out for some short pass plays or or QB keepers. I think if we try and run between the tackles it’s a wasted play. From looks of the forecast figure we see more run than pass
  17. I can ask, don’t know if it will do any good. But I’ll try.
  18. Them mommas in Trenton feeding them boys good. Y’all making the trip to McNairy Friday night?
  19. Looks like we be playing the #1 team in 2A in the state Friday night. Pressure!!!
  20. There’s not but four or five posters on coachT. from McNairy and they are more active on the basketball boards. Got a good football fan base at McNairy just not on the T. I would consider our offense a spread that’s always going to try and establish run first. But we had the luxury the past couple years with Kirk at QB that you could really open up the playbook. But with a young QB which in time will be fine think probably gonna be a lot more conservative with the play calling. Graduated a heck of a RB in Scott, TE in Latham, lost a lot of size off the o line. It’s just gonna take a few games to know what to expect.
  21. Yes. I told some guys when we left UT Martin that night I was afraid that could very well keep us out of the playoffs. 7 3A was loaded last year
  22. I honestly don’t know a number. They are pretty average for most visitor sides. Probably about like Milan’s old stadiums visitor side
