  1. The sad thing is that the kid wants to play and her parents have forced her to quit. I am sure that every Bradley fan wants to see the team back together. It is frustrating.
  2. he turns everything around to make it sound like what he wants to hear
  3. YES!!! No where have I read that this was court ordered- her mother marched up to the courthouse and signed her custodial rights over willingly- for the sole purpose of eligibility at Cleveland.
  4. it was not court ordered- her mother voluntarily signed over rights. big difference. you're dumb
  5. They are trying to beat the system because they are upset at the coaching at BCHS. Even if she had to change guardianship- she could still go to Bradley. Her sister is still going there. She don't need a change in guardianship.... why is that? Because she dont play basketball. Her parents want her be top scorer and the MVP of every game and that isnt happening. She hasto be coddled and given special privileges. No one is bashing the player. this is her parents doing and it is affecting not only her team but her too. The only thing I have said is that any player on that team can be the MVP on any given night. Her move will definitely affect the team. She will be missed. But not one player will make or break any team- not even Lebron. QUIT PUTTING WORDS IN EVERYONES MOUTH and listen to the facts.... this move is solely to play basketball. Nothing else. It has been said on here she didnt want to leave Bradley- her parents are forcing it. you are gross!! and ignorant.
  6. Mr two pairs turns everything around. Stirring the pot. Let's just say gloves is the only thing he has a pair of.
  7. YES!!! This, this is what is blowing my mind too.
  8. Her sister is enrolled at Bradley. Mer is not. She was at the school yesterday- but is not enrolled there any longer.
  9. I would hope that there is more to the story. I just know she played one night and was enrolled in another school the next.
  10. As I said, I sat behind him at the East Hamilton game. He did not hide that he was not happy with her being benched. If he thought this was the best move for his daughter- then he should have finished the season out and then made the move during the off season. IF this is really because she was benched for three minutes then that is no reason to move even then. her move will hurt the team both physically AND mentally. There is no way those girls are not hurt that they lost not only a teammate but a friend. As much as those girls are together- they have to be close. My son had a terrible season one year and wanted to just quit baseball altogether- I made him finish the season and he overcame obstacles and played the nest season and loved it. Theres lots of life lessons that you can learn in sports that continue to mold you into a better person and my personal opinion is that this was handled wrong. I would love to hear his arguments on the subject- maybe I will run into him at the Cleveland game to discuss.
  11. If you live in the city you have the choice of going to city or county schools. so, not exactly.
  12. I have not talked about the kid- I have stated numerous times that this move will hurt the team!!! And I just stated that I totally blame the parents. Forcing a kid to quit mid season? And she wanted to stay at Bradley? Bet that I wouldn't tell him exactly what I am saying now- he is killing his kid. There is no way that anyone sees this as the right thing to do. When she gets a job and she doesnt like that her boss makes her work overtime - what is she going to do? Walk out. you can't teach your kids that it is okay to walk away when things dont go your way. If you are telling me that her family forced her to quit on an entire team- that is beyond ridiculous.
  13. NO!! I have a problem with her parents allowing her to just quit a team mid season because she wasn't happy with the circumstances. What is that teaching her? She hurt the team and herself and college coaches will see the same thing. It's not the kids fault- it's the parents.
  14. My thoughts exactly. Especially since she left over playing time.
  15. So the family dynamics actually haven't changed and they are just cheating the system by signing over rights? Sounds fair.
  16. I heard tonight that her mother actually signed her custodial rights over to the grandmother JUST so that she could have a change of address. The is unthinkable to me and out of the realm of logical thinking in my opinion. So yes, she should be eligible. I would bet that Reuter could protest it but that is just my opinion. Why any coach would want a player they would go to those measures because she was benched for three minutes is beyond me.
  17. Pretty sure she will not be eligible Tuesday- unfortunately all trolls will have to wait until district play to see your newfound hero (MVP) attempt to take down the bearettes.
  18. 1. I do not have a daughter on the team 2. If i did I would still not think that even she could make or break the team. 3. She was awarded MVP of that particular tournament- she would not be handed that award every single game. Different girls are MVP every time they step on the court. 4. If you do not think the team made her better you are past the point of help. 5. I am not arguing the fact that she was an important factor of the team- you are just looking for an argument.
  19. LeBron also couldn't win a game without the other four players on the court.
  20. She is definitely one of their better players- but I don't think you can single her out as the best. Every girl on that team contributes something. I have seen her on a good night and she could have been seen as the best player. On a bad night(the last game she played) she actually hurt the team. You can define a team by one player. This move will hurt them no doubt. but don't count them out just yet. I
  21. Not their best player by any means. But yes, she will be eligible from what I hear.
  22. Great game last night. The better team won. The refs helped the score just a bit- there were a couple of times that Madison should have been called a foul and they ignored it altogether or called it against Bradley. East Hamilton definitely had home court advantage. Great team effort- MOST of the bearettes played very unselfishly... that one though... she could hurt the team down the road if not controlled.
  23. This thread is absurd. From what the article says, the coach did not play his starters the entire second half. His JV players were on the court and there was no press. Do you want his players to just not shoot? Play monkey in the middle with the other team? That would be less embarrassing? I could see this post being relevant had he continued to play as if it was a tied ballgame- but he clearly did not do that. If this team scheduled a game with the defending state champions- they had to know what to expect going in the game?
