  1. You are a hater because you are talking about illegal transfers without having a clue of what you are talking about.
  2. When kids and parents see all the amazing things that are going on at Cleveland both academically and athletically they are gonna want to go here. We have student/athletes dropping 30+ on the ACT, kids being finalists for Mr. Basketball. $7+ million in scholarships were handed out last year alone. The question is not why would kids/parents want to go to Cleveland, but why would you want to go anywhere else. I can't wait for my son and daughter to wear the Blue.
  3. So when you keep bringing up specific incidentents you are talking about adults? I'm certain that your hate will continue to manifest as the Cleveland girls basketball program continues to rise.
  4. If you are truly a Grandpa it is really sad that you come on a message board and continue to throw shade at children. One thing that always amazes me is how people try to elevate their own by tearing down others. Bradley is a great basketball program with arguably the richest tradition in the whole state. You have an axe to grind with this coach because he challenges your tradition and your dominance. He took over a two win program and in four years is competing with the best teams in the state. Williams is not perfect but the results are definitely trending upward for the Cleveland girls program. You made a comment earlier about him stealing your players. Did it occur to you that the young lady was a Cleveland kid from the beginning and might have never wanted to even be at Bradley? I am personally glad to have a coach that your people don't like. It means he is doing something right.
  5. Those were two great games. So glad these games were made up. It would have been a shame for all of these teams to not get to compete on that stage heading into tournament season.
  6. Cleveland dropped an overtime heartbreaker tonight at Maryville 62-60. Had chances but just couldn't quite finish the game. We are peaking at the right time though. I also heard we won the coin toss to finish 2nd for the 3rd year in a row.
  7. Some interesting facts about the game to assist the discussion. Bradley's score by quarter. 1st-36 2nd-22 3rd-28 4th-14 The score at halftime was 58-6 and at the end of 3 quarters 86-9. Bradley's regular rotation players played through 3 quarters while mainly freshmen and sophomores played the final quarter. Bradley forced 45 turnovers while scoring 69 points off of the turnovers. The scores of their last 3 games are Ooltewah 92-18 Soddy 80-19 Marion 100-14 Unfortunately they are just that much better than these opponents. It does neither team any good to play games like this.
  8. I was at the game. Starters only played about 2 quarters. 4 freshmen and 1 sophomore played the whole 4th quarter and the team never pressed the entire game.
  9. You claim that he has not won a coach of the year award because of jealousy and I offered you a talking point. If you think beating Ooltewah 84-13 and Soddy Daisy 79-17 and 79-9 is prepping them for state then I no longer will engage you in meaningful dialogue because you obviously don't know anything about sports. Have a good evening.
  10. I think that is part of it. I have watched basketball in this district for the entire Jason Reuter era. There are a couple teams in this district that will never be able to field a team that will be competitive with the Bradley's, Cleveland's, or in recent years East Hamilton's. The fact that Bradley beats those teams so unmercifully might create a negative impact on those coaches, it probably affects their voting. I personally watched Cleveland play a completely outmatched Loudon team on Friday and play 14 kids evenly throughout the game to win by only 20. If Bradley had played that game they would have won by 80 and so could Cleveland if they had wanted too. Respect is not earned through humiliation, but by humility.
