Wow, that York vs MBA game was the best of AA. Maybe people want to check knocking on Gibson Co for losing by 2 on a last second layup at Memphis Business. Because they just took the “favorites” and “all stars” to the wire and could have won it. Lack of experience might have cost MBA there at the end.

I feel like 2A in general will have a drop next year and year after …just because a lot of teams at state were senior heavy.

Does Gibson lose a lot this year? I thought after graduation of Micah Hart, it might take a bit to get adjusted. You can’t replace that kind of player overnight really. She was so fun to watch.

I know this doesn’t matter necessarily.. but I watched the Gibsonand Memphis Business substate game .. and Gibson and MBA imo have looked better than any team not named Westview. and Loretto would be a toss up. It’s a bummer Gibson didn’t make it to defend their title. Do think the glass house may be big and bright for some.. or just seems all of these games have been a little sloppy.

Me too, I know there were players with foul trouble. But did McMinn just not play like usually do? They’ve been beating teams by big margins all season. Hate that the Miss Basketball finalist fouled out of her last game as a senior.

This first game is a sloppy game.. neither of these teams will beat Westview.

Looking at their roster .. they are young.. very good chance they’ll make some noise for the next few years

Right! Coalfield doesn’t looked scared of the big moment.. they’ve been before but it’s been several years.. so the lack of experience in the glass house doesn’t look to be affecting them

I’m not sure how Moore Co was considered a favorite? Coalfield has looked better than them all game. Not a knock.. just wondering is this typical Moore Co? Or are they having a bad game?

I’d say the other Gibson school would tell you they don’t worry about their so called “rival”. If history serves me right Gibson Co. has been there close to 20 times… and has something like 5 or 6 balls if I’m looking back at history right.

Memphis Business pressure might give York some trouble. Do they have a good ball handler besides Beaty?

I wouldn’t count out York’s first round matchup with Gibson, if they both win. Gibson and York both have experience up there. And if I’m not mistaken over last few years have been responsible for putting each other out of the tournament.

I heard state tournament brackets draws already happened yesterday for both boys and girls. Using a ping pong ball for each region/substate matchup .. anybody know if this is true?
