The General was absolutely correct. I’m looking out my living room window in Loretto just north of the school and the Lewis County busses apparently took a wrong turn, mistaking a driveway for a road. They are backing out and getting back on the correct route. You can’t make this stuff up! For the record, it’s not too dark out there, but still can’t believe it actually happened.

I’d suggest Preston’s Restaurant in Leoma. Great food and service with a broad menu. Or if you’re in the mood for wood fired pizza, we have The Noble Fox in downtown Loretto. Besides that, your options are Ricks BBQ, or a good little Mexican restaurant. Also have a Burger King, Hardee’s, and Subway.

I’m usually just a consumer, not a poster, but I’m concerned as well. Did the General get lost on that LOOOONNNGGG journey back to Chapel Hill???

Loretto should have won. They just didn't show up ready to play. Porter #21 RB was hurt, which didn't help them, but still a very winnable game. The next 3 weeks are huge for Loretto, especially the last game of the season when Eagleville comes to Loretto.

Ryan Weather's is a fierce competitor. He helped Loretto earn a State title in baseball and basketball, as well as a baseball state runner-up. No surprise that he made it to the show. He's an impressive young man with a great head on his shoulders.

The General is probably right. Loretto has had a hard time putting together full games where both the offense and defense put together a full game. This is a very young team, but the future looks bright for them. Lewis is a tough match up for everyone in the Region. Loretto vs. Eagleville the last week of the season, and how Summertown fares against E'ville next week, will be huge in determining the Mustang's playoff picture.

Richland played a heck of a game. Great game plan that was well executed. The Barn is a tough place to play.
