Elizabethton has great team been going to some of their games hope they win it all. Sometimes discipline can beat more athletic teams.

What the difference between say Hampton and Oakland high school best team in tenn beat maryville 49-7 in playoffs last year. Lot of teams as athletic as oakland in nc.

To bad this game didn't happen. Playing mitchell would have help Hampton tremendously would have been best team they would face all season and it would have paid off come playoff time. This Hampton team is a state championship contender

In my opinion elizabethton dont want no part of mitchell, because they know how physical mitchell plays and they dont want to get players bang up. I have been staying in elizabethton they have very good team , but only championship in nc they could win is 1a. I watch Reidsville play last year they were 2a champs in nc , they have at least 6 players faster then anyone from elizabethton, elite teams in nc are lot athletic .

Elizabethton needs play Mitchell county, Mitchell is very small 1a school in NC. They are probably good as any them on betys schedule

Mitchell is lot better then pigion forge, they run wing t offense. Their defense is strong against the run very physical. My opinion their team speed on defense will cause Hampton all kinds of trouble. For Hampton to win they will have to win line of scrimmage and play mistake free football.

You guys have really good team this season, extremely well coach. I was on the sidelines and your coaching staff was telling your defense what play was coming. And they were right 80 percent of time.

Biggest concern if I was Hampton ,was the way pigion forge was stopping you in 2and half. I notice halfway in 2nd quarter they had 8 players in the box. Bet every team you face this year will load the box. Your quarterback is capable of making short throws , that's only way you can stop teams from loading the box. If you guys can develop short passing attack you guys will be hard to stop

I actually been living in elizabethton, watch some high school football last season mostly elizabethton and Hampton. Hampton reminds me of Heritage, not as athletic, but same style. Bulldogs will make playoff run this year. As for elizabethton my opinion they don't have as much firepower this year, but their defense is better. They are so well coach, they can beat teams with more talent.
