Will CAK have anything for CPA? I am expecting no team from Memphis making it past this round.

Will CAK/Chattanooga Christian or ECS/Lausanne/BGA have a say in that? What's the most likely upset?

I wonder if people are afraid of locker room material with so many rival teams in D2.

Do we really think Brentwood Academy is 26th based on the Sonny Moore ratings? Anyone know how these are compiled?

Here is the link to the TV recording. It says different teams, but it's the CPA/Lipscomb game. From what i see the goal line fumble on 4th down was going to be stopped anyway. The two teams traded fumbles about mid-field. The final turnover was a late game interception to end the game. Lipscomb had 3 huge impact holding penalties that put them way behind the chains to end drives where they were moving the ball with pretty much ease. Lipscomb let #10 get a breakout run, but the defense appeared to be in a bend, but don't break defense. I agree with an earlier post that two really well coached and talented teams amplifies any and all mistakes in a big game. It would be great to see the two play for the championship. They added BA this year (lost, but had 7 downs inside the 2 and only got 3 points) when the opportunity came about. Played JP2 (lost by 7 with 7 turnovers), Father Ryan was cancelled due to COVID and added Briarcrest when the opportunity came up. There is no question they want to play the best around. The state will know how they stack up tonight. I'm looking forward to seeing how they fare. Perhaps it will help sort out how many divisions we have.

How do they account for the all boys schools? Double the enrollment 9-12 the grade?

There were a few surprises last night. Is there a shift of power going on? What in the world is going on with that Lipscomb team to blank Briarcrest 42-0? They weren't expecting that at all. I'm glad to see the CPA game get rescheduled during the regular season. JP2 and Father Ryan on the rise? BA has a good stretch of games coming up s we'll see just how good they are. JP2 has their tough games in the rear view mirror. I just hope we can complete the season. It's been so good for these young men and their communities to play football.

Looks like a ripple effect of some COVID teams is creating opportunities to get creative on scheduling opponents. I see Briarcrest is headed to Nashville to play Lipscomb Academy. Kraeger indicates it should be a good matchup. What do you think? I won't be surprised if we hear of some more cancellations. I just hope replacement games can be found.

Dragons 20-10 win over ECS was listed as one of the biggest wins of week 6. Do we agree? Anyone there in person to witness it? Also saw JP2 took down Franklin without their QB and stud RB.

They may be 4-0, but a writeup we saw said in week 2 they won by a touchdown, but it took them 7 turnovers to get there. We'll see after the game this week just how good 4-0 shows.
