  1. Thoughts on what this year should look like? Jackson will be in year 3 at the helm. Foster will be a Jr and be under center for year #2

I would say Tigers are pre season favorites to win the region but the Bulldogs from Celina might have something to say about that

    Opinions?

They most definitely could be the front runner in the east.

Cmon Pirate. You know that’s not true. Don’t want to take anything away from OZ or any other team for that matter. But you guys will always be the front runner until proven otherwise

It's going to be odd witnessing a player getting drafted in the early rounds, and he didn't sniff the Mr. Baseball list (which I don't value that as much as the others). 18 players made it, but only two from West Tennessee.

    It’s happened before

Chatt Prep had more talent than anyone in the east this year. They we’re just young.

Anyone in the East other than you guys. You guys were far more talented than any team on our schedule. Chatt Prep was probably #2

  5. Not sure about the west. But the usual suspects are who you can expect from the East. The road will go through South Pittsburg. After that, it will be Gordonsville, Clay Co, Whitwell, Coalfield, and Oliver Springs battling to try and knock SP off.

The Dark Horse in the East I think will be Chatt Prep. I was impressed with their athleticism in Round 1. They gave us all we could handle that night. If they can get a good idea of what they are trying to do with the X’s and O’s I think they can probably have the best chance to give SP a real shot. They will be able to match up athletically better than anyone imo

Upperman consistently had sub par seasons before Caine got here. It has much more to do with coaching than you think

2013-2017 I would hardly call subpar

    13-1 in 2013

7-5 in 2014 after losing a huge class from the ‘13 squad

9-3 in 2015 with another district title

    4-7 in 2016. Subpar I will agree

    6-5 in 2017. Par

Upperman had consistently subpar season before 2013. That 2013 team got it turned around and Upperman has taken it a step further under Caine

  7. Gordonsville should be better. Lost a huge senior class from the 2022 squad so this year had a lot of new faces. New kids got some experience playing meaningful snaps this year. Only losing 8 seniors I believe and gaining a good group of 8th graders

So funny all these fans in the first half had no problem with the refs and now they big mad.

Getting a silver ball is nothing to be ashamed of.

Congrats to Coach Brunetti. Dude is one of the true great men of the sport and makes a difference in young men’s lives daily. First title for PC since 1998.

    1997*

  9. Good luck to both teams in this one. I’m the most excited to see this game than any other this weekend. I watched some of Upperman’s game against Greeneville on UCR and was very impressed with their big guys up front. PC speed may give them trouble but if they can keep things bottled up between the tackles, the Bees will be a tough out. I have to root for an Upper Cumberland team but my gut says PC by a few scores. I hope I’m wrong though

    GO BEES

I didn't say a thing about Moore Counties lack of a QB and thought Moore would beat them without him anyway.I said Gordonsville didn't stand a chance against McKenzie.Huge difference between McKinzie and Gordonsville or any other East team not named South Pittsburg.I will not lower myself to calling you Delusional and Ridiculous.

I agree with you completely ST. We would have no chance against about 4/5 teams from the west
