It should be a good game.
Fairviews offense is kind of an old style grind it out with the big back and big guys up front. They will try to keep the ball out of Waverlys offenses hands. The Waverly O Vs. the Fairview D is a very good matchup. Im not sure it will be a low scoring game. I think Waverly has a good enough defense to win this. If we slow (notice I said slow, he’s a stud as well!) Grant down on the off tackle/Sally’s and keep our small CB helped over the top then I think we control the game. Just my thoughts!
Looks like the region will come down to Waverly and Fairview. Unless something happens between now and last week of regular season! Should be a fun stretch!
I think White House’s d-line and LB’ers will neutralize the Fairview run game. Grant is a good back but not that quick. The OT’s are big but have slow feet. Fairview can overcome that with the passing game. On the other hand Fairview will probably stalemate the WH run game, which is all they have. So I think Fairview will pull it out.
Elliott also has played a key role defensively, creating 3 forced fumbles, recovering 2, has a tackle for a safety, and several big hits for tackles. He’s more than a running back this year.
Second half adjustments, mentally, physically, personnel and executing wise, the Tigers pulled away. Our QB started throwing dimes, opening up the running game. We played good defense most of the game! It was fun to watch!
