Hard fought nasty football game played by two good teams. 34 penalties for 385 yards. That’s absurd. Clay19-195&west16-190. The refs were fair but called a lot of bad penalties both ways.Clay just let too many opportunities to score on the field. Three trips in red zone with no points. Outgained Westmoreland 300-250 in yardage. Clay should have run on two point conversion. I believe the outcome would have been different. Don’t know about west injuries but clay took some lumps loosing key starters during game. Hope speedy recoveries for all thatplayed in a slugfest.I enjoy this game every year and lastnight was no different. Exciting every year no matter the outcome until the last minute. Celina has three exceptional qbs. Starting qb is a senior. He was injured most of last year. About 60/40 run but loaded with play makers with speed.

36 & 15 against east rob lastnight in 68-53 win. He scored first 19/21 points for Dawgs. Dawgs got down early and he turned the tables down by 12 with a Michael Jordan baseline dunk over defenders.

I’m not mad at all. I wish our boys from Celina could have won lastnight. I want to believe I’m a sportsman and believe in sportsmanship. Your boys are very athletic and I believe the best team I’ve saw this year and the previous 4 times Celina had you all. Every Dawg has their day. We did once back in 1983 there. I believe y’all be making a trip to Celina next year. I myself don’t mind the canon as long as it don’t interfere with the game. It is logic. Entertainment is on the field and should be enough.no need for all that. Home field us advantage enough. High school sports are not circus events and shouldn’t be allowed to be.

Canon needs banned. Players having to play in smoke filled area. Shooting off canon before play even over.not very sportsman like.One clay county fan with lung problems had to leave stands and go sit in car not being able to stand smoke. If a smoker can’t smoke around kids nether should a canon. Just my opinion.
