I’ve had nothing to say so far because I have no earthly idea what to expect.

I think he could have been more upbeat for the sake of the players.

I guess that’s one way to look at it. I think we were scrambling to win, not using the game for practice. But win we did. We can go from there.

We helped them a lot, kept stopping ourselves

I’m going to forget about this week and start checking out Lenoir City. Can’t believe I just typed that.

It wasn’t an if and I don’t mean that in a smart mouth way. I won’t do the same and say the name on here but I only knew one of the names after I heard him say it in the interview.

That’s the part that bothered me because he called them out by name. The other part that got me was when he said this was unacceptable because HE had never had a shutout in HIS CAREER before. But I’m for him and the team all the way. You just don’t say everything you think out loud.

Did anyone listen to Cummings postgame interview? If so, your thoughts.

I wasn’t shocked that we lost, but I was stunned by how badly we played overall.

If Farragut is down, that is concerning. We lost 30-35 last year when Farragut was better and 0-24 this year when we’re supposed to be better. The running game couldn’t put any points on the board. OR was way off…Bad News Bears style. We are still undefeated where it matters, but things need to pick up. We can’t keep waiting for the injured to return.

I’m stunned. This is ugly.

Seriously? I don’t think Maryville needs excuses. They win. I was just asking if Farragut did something that we could watch and be prepared for.

Do we know anything about how many kids definitely out with injuries? Not asking for names, just hoping we have some of them back.

I don’t think it was as pretty a win as you make it sound, but that doesn’t matter to me. We have a W in our column and they have an L. I’ll take it. We will get better.

So you have a serious businessman who sits in his office with a Coacht poster to make a phone call of that magnitude?

Can you imagine the looks you would get at a red light not in East TN if someone saw that big face on your back window?

I appreciate this response. Maybe you aren’t the jerk you led us to believe. Seriously, it was just all in the bluntness and how many times you chose to repeat it. Obviously, he has some work to do, but he’s doing it. He will be fine.

I think we ALL say things on here we wouldn’t say to someone’s face. That’s why most use screen names and don’t reveal their true identity. I assume since you would be willing to say this to the quarterback, his parents, his coaches, that you will be changing your screen name to your real name. Then I would believe you would say it to their faces.

Let me guess. You were fifth chair trombone in your high school marching band, making you an expert on such matters.

Sounds to me like you just have something personal against him. If you are a kid yourself, let it go. If you are an adult, quit acting like a kid and quit blasting a kid.
