Well if you’re losing athletes to Alcoa it’s tough on a smaller school.

Interesting. Alcoa fans keep telling me all the athletes are home grown. Played together for generations since grade school. So the kids left because the coaching at Greenback is poor.

Anyone know how many seniors Moore Co loses. I heard that they have a lot of starters returning. IF they basically return last year’s roster then i think they will be a contender.

He’s a tough kid for sure. Gritty performance at City. Was on the field the whole game. Biggest Qb I’ve seen play that’s built like a middle LB. Thanks for the info.

Yes. . I wondered about them. A great pair of girls. I hope they found success. They were certainly phenomenal at Betsy for 3yrs. Coach Dugger was certainly proud to have them to coach no doubt.

I hope she is able to stay home and play for ETSU. Anyone know what happened to the twins from Betsy that went there several years ago.

I’ve been called a “loser” a “troll” and being someone called “Willie” and having multiple accounts. I just speak my mind. Most of the time. Throw a little jab here and there. It’s amusing to me how easily people get defensive talking about HS sports. Does anyone know who “Willie” is. Heck if i knew who he was I’d like to see what he’s said that has Kevo acting like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. I guess the good ole days of people getting into spirited disagreements is over. I actually had someone post that “my days were numbered because i used a four letter word”. Seriously. Some people have awfully thin skin. The Boss actually posted IF you don’t want to see someone’s post just pull up their profile and hit “ignore”. That should help those with fragile egos an out. But they stick around and continue to comment. If you’re not comfortable laying on the porch with the big dogs then move. Pretty simple. BPM. . What could you have possibly said that would cause someone to threaten all that. Or was it a long standing feud. I’m just intrigued. Apparently CT was a lot more like the Wild West years ago. We’ve gotten soft and too PC as a society in my opinion. You can’t express or share your true feelings about something or someone without worrying about hurting someone’s feelings. We’ve apparently forgotten about “sticks and stones”. Anyone can impulsively react to “words”. It takes a bigger man to consider the source and either laugh it off or tactfully respond without threatening violence. Or in your case death. Was this a common occurrence for you or other posters back in the day? I’ve heard of people getting kicked off the site too. Are people still getting kicked off to your knowledge?

Well it costs us a Definite State Championship and the lack of Qb play cost us one the prior year. Maybe they’ll find someone to coach the talent UP instead of relying on the team to out talent teams to win.

Fayetteville HAD the best athletes all over the field. Lack of preparation, discipline, (penalties), and poor coaching (bad play calling and player positioning) cost them a win. Congrats to McKenzie they had those bases covered with good coaching and pulled it out in the end.

Creeker Ball can you give me a prediction on where Unaka’s boys and girls will finish in the region this year. Heard that Cloudland girls are awfully good this season. Does UH have a D1 girl. I’ve been reading about a great player this class.

I think the attendance may have been down because of the weather. Chance of rain every day.
