No disrespect to West and definitely not talking trash. I think both teams have done what each needed to do to put themselves in this position. I think this will be the best game of the weekend.

Lots of antics going on at Bearden. Nobody knows who their position coach is. I mean a well known “trainer” in the area was coaching them up at halftime of the West game in their documentary before someone thought it might be a good idea to edit it. Is the trainer on staff or is he not? Again, I could care less. Just be honest about it. Bearden should be stacked in 2024! They did really well without Jah for the majority of the year.

Who have they played that has been a threat to throw the ball besides a beat to death backfield Powell team? Nobody.

I like Page to return to the title game for a 3rd consecutive year. They bring home gold this year. The East is down!

I would say the weakest link in the West defense.

I have read that first sentence on upcoming season OR threads since Tee was there. When does it pay off. Year in and year out, I think OR is one of the most talented teams in the area over the last several. When does that pay off with the big one or at least playing for it. Please don’t use the year y’all got beat by Summit. Everyone knows that was a fluke.

I do remember a time when WV upset the Panthers in an early round of the playoffs. Not sure I would say West is a shoe in for the Title game.

I would say 3. Not sure I would give the safety to the defense. Shocked by this one. West seemed to be in great shape and Powell looked they haven’t conditioned since the summer.

I’m just saying look at it. Based off previous years numbers, Oak Ridge should have been 6A. Instead they are the largest 5A for this cycle. Then to get put in that Region? Come on. It’s there for the entire state to see. Dead bodies and pics exist! And now, did I read that Gaddis is on the TSSAA BoC in some capacity? Maybe not BoC but he was added to something in some capacity.

The Knoxville All Stars will be taking up equipment Thanksgiving week thanks to the Bradley County and (Surrounding) counties All Stars. Great second season for the Bulldogs. They should be good for the next couple of years.

Are you saying there is not a concussion protocol in high school athletics? I understand that Clinton didn’t follow it but I hope other teams do follow the protocol. We are talking about the brains of 15-18 year olds. Unless there is not one of course. If that is the case, shame on TSSAA.

The best 5A defenses in the East getting ready for Round 2. Right now I am leaning Powell just because of how they controlled the majority of the last game and they are probably a little better overall on the offensive side of the ball.

Definitely not a good look at all. Why would a coach even think this was ok to be put in print? Will the administration have anything to say about it?
