Jo Byrns's Evan Anderson has around 15 hits off of bunts, and i was wondering if there was anyone out there better then him at bunting? He is fun to watch, because he can hit or bunt at any time. He is leading Jo Byrns w/ a BA of .481, so who else out there can bunt even when ppl know its coming and still get a base hit out of it.

Jo Byrns 8, White House-Heritage 7 This was a great game w/ Jo Byrns going up 3-1 and then WH going up 6-3. Then JBS got back up 8-6 and Mclung added some drama in the seventh inning w/ a solo shot. But thats how it ended. There were 2 Homers by both teams. Tomorrow it will be Hill vs. Holman in what should be a very good game. I look forward to it. Good luck to everyone else tomorrow!!!! Will Clinard from East Robertson has to be mentioned in this class. He had Vanderbilts pitching coach at the game when he pitched against us, and he is just a Junior!!

Kevin38 I do think Jo Byrns will go 10-0, but i am saying that if they lose it will be to Cascade. Personally i dont think Cascade can beat Jo Byrns for one reason. And this will make alot of ppl mad, but oh well im done w/ hs football. Jo Byrns will beat Cascade purely because of coaching. Cascade couldnt not adjust to what we were doing and we were ready for anything they threw at us because our coaches had us ready. The same will be said for this year. I stand by believe that Coach Adkins is the BEST offensive minded coach in the single A. We didnt have blinding talent, yet we ran all over everybody we played, including MP in our loss. If Jo Byrns can fill the 3 or 4 spots on both offense and defense, then they will be great, because Coach Adkins will make sure of that.

No chill pill needed here goodeye11, i promise my comment was light hearted, and i was only joking. thats why i hate internet talk, because ppl can misunderstand u very easily. About the whole talk about Jo Byrns hosting a district tournament. Our field is over 300 evey except dead left. Our dimensions are 292, 316, 315 We have a ten foot fence at left field, and thats the best we can do, because Jo Byrns doesnt own the land behind the fence. It is a problem that we have wanted to fix for a long time. Hooper u said it would be bad because pop ups can go out, but cant pop ups for the other team go out too? i mean its not that hard to lift the ball in the air if ur trying to hit a home run. I mean what are u scared of it would benefit yall the most, because nobody can even hardly get the ball out of the infield against Clinard. Hey Zeke how u been man? Hope we have a good series next week. Looking forward to it!!!

It was not a sound call, but u can think w/e u want to think. A guy sliding into second base is not interference, the guy throwing the ball should have stepped out of the way. Players across the country are taught to slide into second no matter what, and this guy got punished for doing what he was taught.

IF anybody can give Will Clinard a run for his money for pitcher of the year, it is this guy!!!!!!!! Tramont Moody and Evan Anderson both had 3 hits apiece. While several others had multiple hits. Next week is the big show down with White House-Heritage!!!!

Jo Byrns beat Clarksville Academy today 14-5 at Woodlawn Park. Jo Byrns field wasnt in good condition so we switched and played at their place today, and at ours tomorrow. We will have Parker on the mound tomorrow, so as long as we can keep our bats hot i feel good about tomorrow. I also found out that Nashville Christian beat East tonight 6-3, handing Will Clinard his first loss of the season. He gave up only 3 hits, but NCS still scores 6 runs to beat East. Mcdowell pitched for NCS. So it will prolly be Coffee vs. Hicks tomorrow.

Aww thats kool! I think district should have been at our field this year. It is our turn and we have all the requirements. I know our field isnt the best, but it is still the same for both teams. Houston Co. is to far of a drive for every team excep them and Mcewen.

the SS from Rossview switch hits. I pitched against him and he hit lefty the first time, and then righty the rest of the night. Because i'm left handed. His name is something like Mcclure or sumthing like that.

let me hear some suggestions for a problem my school has! Jo Byrns has a very small field it is 295 Dead Left, 320 Dead Center, 316 in Dead Right. Jo Byrns cannot move its field back due to the fact that we dont own the land behind or field, and the owners wont let us back it up. Center could be moved back about 10-20 ft, and right cuold be moved back up to 40 ft. But the problem with that is the shortest part of the field, left, cant be moved back at all. It already has a 10 ft fence, but does anybody have any suggestions on how to stop all the Homers from flying out of this park?

We got CA next week and then its Heritage. Hunters Lane is ok. They put up 11 and 13 on us, but that wasnt against our best pitching though. But they did have two guys go yard at Hunters Lane. The big first base man can straight rake! Throw him curves. If u put it in play to anybody besides SS and CF u should cause errors. there ace #15 is really good, but other then him there pitching isnt strong. whos better Mclung or Hill?

I am playing football at Rhodes College in Memphis next year!!!
