Lipscomb is an anomaly, when you bring on out of state kids, I truly forgot about how lopsided some of those games are, but that’s done now. Lipscomb isn’t what they were two years ago, also I don’t get what this point about Desoto and Mater Dei is. BGA’s goal isn’t to mercy rule CPA, nobody’s goal was. Lipscombs goal was to build a program to boost enrollment and the name of the school, and most importantly, get Dilfer a better job, but yes while the only school to mercy rule CPA was Lipscomb, it won’t happen again. Captain Guru gotta read better.

My hot take for 2024: Boyd wins state, I think it’ll be tough, but I think they can edge out the boys from the middle, boys from the west really don’t do much so. Knox Webb may be alright but they did lose a lot. CCS loses a lot but also brings back a good amount as well, have to see if they get a solid QB. CAK may be scary, will be fun to watch. Likewise, Lakeway, another fun, not much to lose, out there to win games and shock the state, could see them having another great season.

Agreed, BGA went into the carrousel with the ability to start fresh. I think that this coach will know how to build a program, restore the BGA football glory days, and make them a force to be reckon with in D2-AA, great hire coming. Wouldn’t be surprised if they see some transfer in after the announcement.

Neither, I believe it is someone new to TN high school football, and returning to HS football as a whole. Big splash coming in Franklin

Does Jacob Gill get another chance anywhere? Doing what he did is impressive... but maybe not in a good way.

Good for Franklin, they’re getting a great guy from what it sounds like, a young guy too which is even better. Hopefully he can get all the students walking in the hallways out to play, what we’ve been missing past couple years.
