Region 7-2a Fan

Obviously someone needs to do their homework before they rattle off. Since its obvious you haven't been to a Westview game lately they have Guy HB only, Josh Williams and Matthew Tucker who play both HB and FB. You can ask Gibson County that Tucker is a pretty solin sophmore running back. To me they have more than one go to guy from what i have seen this year.

I got two game one is the Milan at Huntingdon game where Huntingdon won 13-10, The better one to me was the Huntingdon at Westview game where the game was decided with 2.5 seconds left where Westwiew won on a game winning field goal to win 29-26.

I think the Peabody @ Westview game will have a big impact on the region. It will take one team out of the 4 way tie for 1st. I think it will be one of the bigger impact games of the week.

I dont know why all this is being said about Westview without Guy can't win. I mean they did put up 31 points against GC without him. I mean sure Guy might have put up more but i mean you have to give credit to that O-line of the "View". I mean its not like Guy plays Defense too.

I think the reason Peabody is low right now because they haven't really played anyone. Once they get to the tougher part of their schedule then is the success continues then they wil move up but not until.

I think it all depends on how Westview takes their loss to Gibson County.They could come into this game pumped and ready to play with something to prove. Then again they could do what some good teams in the past have done before and take the loss and make it a habit for the rest of the year. I think they are a better team than that and will come out to prove something next week but only time will tell.

To the guy that said Westview's sportmanship was just as bad, I was there on defense and nothin was said to cunningham about him sucking. We would help him up after just about every play. I want to also refer to last, some of you bulldogs from Milan can quote me on this, if i'm not mistaken Westview congratulated Milan after that put them out and told them good luck. I was one of them and I even went with a lot of my teammates and rooted for Milan in the semi-final game last year. If you dont know the facts dont post. We show more than the upmost respect for our opponents. GC's lineman our the best players, sports, and people on the team. Yall need to take some lessons from them in how to act.

You know the class of GC's football team is ridiculous. You know when you beat a team it is only good sportsmanship to shake their hands and say good game. But chanting yall aint #2 no more is just unclassy. I congratulate yall for beating us but have some class doing it. Yalls QB is a good athlete but has one of the worst attitudes out there. He was trying to start fights when yall were down and then wouldnt shake anyones hands after yall won. Westview did not sit Guy out because they underestimated yall but his knee was hurt and the doctor told him to sit out. Cunningham is good but I just wanna tell the people he has to think for that the most (the lineman) good job last night. Yall are a great bunch of guys and are very talented and have really good class. All I wanna get across in this is WIN WITH CLASS AND LOSE WITH CLASS!

All this talk about Trousdale and yall need to worry about Union City, Mckenzie, and Lake County cause they may not be a private school but they are very tough teams. Union City's line is huge and they have some very good backs. Lake County and McKenzie have 2 of the best quarterbacks that match up with most in the state. So beware of region 7A.

I think the game will be close but will go either way cause these are two great teams facing off early. It will be one for the year so whoever you are you should be at this game if you want to see one of the best of the year.

What is everyones predictions on this showdown between Hundington and Westview? This game means more now that they are in the same region

Huntingdon @ Westview and this is a region game this year too.

I saw all three teams yeasterday and it looked lik it was goin to be a bad day wor Westview beacause of the size disadvantage. In the end Westview was pushing them around pretty well.Overall all 3 teams did well but Westviews D-fense wassuprisingly better than what they expected. Their youngsters were layin the wood. Bruceton's fullback was pretty good though.

If im wrong please someone correct me buyt i think Malcolm benches 300, cleans 285, and squats 385. I know its atleast around that

Westview has an upcoming sophmore named Malcolm Beckett that came in as a shy,quiet, and small freshman and going into his sophmore year is an athlete. He is power cleaning more than anyone on the team and bench pressing and squating more than most on the team. He has great work ethic and is a true athlete. He will be someone to watch for over the next couple of years on Friday nights. To me this kid is the real deal. Ask anyone from Westview and they will tell you the same.

This region is definetly a hard nosed region up the middle but you need the line and running backs to do that. The most suprising thing to me is watching Boo and Markei Guy run is they are some of the smallest yet they will charge in the middle like a 250 pound fullback. Everyone speaks of them being one hit away from being put out of the game but ive seen them both take one of those licks and get right back up. I have more respect for these 2 RB's than probably anyone else in this region. I saythese are 2 Mr.Football candidates and mauy the best man win

Those USJ rich boys will get more than they bargained for of them poor rednecks from region 72a. They dont play finesse ball its smashmouth dare you to stop me up the middle football. D-fense is relentless and bonecrushing in region 72a and I hope them boys got a good trainer with this schedule. USJ will take more than enough lumps this year but will eventually settle in. Though they better realize even though they played a couple 2a teams they play almost all 2a teams this year so they better step it up.

You know that just kind of burns me up. You got someone like Gibson County who only won like 2 games in like five years. Then they are going to get on here and talk trash before the season starts. Personally I think you need to earn some colors first. This aint basketball. Your stepping into the big leagues this year a.k.a. region 7 2a. The most loaded region in the state in 2a. You are going to get a rude awakening talking trash to other teams.

Any game with Huntingdon, Westview,and Milan playin each other will be a good one. They are some great rivalries and now they are in the same region. This will be an exciting year in region 7 2a

I like to see a true team player speak up on here. I have a great deal of respect for you westview players now.

If I'm not mistaken Guy's sophmore year injury came from him runnning so fast he pulled his hip muscle away from the bone. That's the only time i saw him slow down while holding a football. He fell in the endzone after he scored too.

I remember last year i watched Guy against Huntigdon and he took plenty of shots from a worthy opponent and kept getting up. He is more durable than any little guy i have ever saw with the exception of Boo Whethers. I just want to see if Gibson County will be able to slow him down since it only takes one shot. We'll see if he lays down or not, if they even hit him.

What does everyone think Markei Guy and Westview do this year? From my understanding they didnt lose much

I was just wonderin what people thought was the toughest region in 2a since the new schedules.
