From what I under stand the parent who took out the add is mad because their child did not make drum major. That is their war ( BAND WAR ). Nothing to do with abuse. (like football)

You just see the bad coaching I as a parent see the way hutchens treats his players. Several parents have been to Clark Duncans office over this. Hutch has cursed players telling them to get their M F head out of their A55 . He eve called one player a M F S O B. If Duncan dosn't fire him mabe he should go also. 3 parents are ready to file a law suite if he isn't fired. we will see..

I belive South Doyle will be looking to hire a new coach. Erik Hutchins can't stop the abuse of his players

I agree there is a differance. but it is abuse if you call a kid a M F S O B figure it out.

Well Iv'e been reading this for a while and now have decided to committ. If the people in South Knoxville want to be heard then do not let Clark Duncan and Rick Walker have a moments rest at any of the games tell them your unhappy and don't stop when football ends go over to there little cornner during basketball and keep on telling them. GIVE THEM NO REST. Have your children tell them what kind of language he uses on the sidelines ( I have heard it ). If you do not couss your children why let someone else. Rember it did cost a basketball coach his job.

I really hope stupid Chuck is not from SD. And if he or she is ? I hope people don't think we at SD fell that way. Coach Howard is one of the finest baseball men in town. He dose't just coach baseball but teaches the kids about life and respect for the game. He also says if you can't say anything nice just shut your mouth. So I really hope STUPID CHUCK is not a part of the SD family.

That is not what happened. Fowler hit a fly ball and the outfielder dove for it and did not make catch Fowler wound up on 2nd. then Zurcher bunted him over and Conley hit a hard deep fly ball and scored Fowler . Thats how the third run scored. Was a great game to watch if you like pitching.

South Doyle Beat Heritage 14 - 0 Monday night. Chad Bell had another good night striking out 11 batters. Zurcher had a very solid game. Eric Conley had a 3 run homer and I belive 5 rbis for the night. Mat Kirckland also had a homer. In all South Doyle looked very strong.

That might be the problem SC is looking to blame everyone else but them selves. I never see any SC players in any show cases or summer camps. You have got to have commitment to work on your on with or without a coach. There are plenty of people around to help you. As for bashing South Doyle that was stupid do you not realize that when people play you a lot of guys who don't play much play! Oh sory South Doyle started 6 or 7 Sophomores all year and finished second in league and second in District. Pitcher of the year ------------- Ryan Holland --- Sophomore -- batting -- .383 Offensive player of the year -- Cody Hawn ----- Sophomore -- batting -- .419 All District ----------------------- Eric Conley ----- Sophomore -- batting -- .479 All District ----------------------- Chad Zurcher -- Sophomore -- batting -- .423 If my son was not JR. that is where he would go.

Compare what he had alot of his starters returning and predicted by most to win district. If you want to compair take South Doyle who started 6 or 7 sophmores this year and lost some very good seniors last year. Robie Howard done a great job to get back to where he was last year. That is a great coaching job. Farragut also done a good job and got better as the year went along. Both teams work hard and faught to get where they are now.
