  1. Hey just be happy Slusher is even getting to play...Heard he has trouble making the grades or does he have behavior problems? Plus I don't think any player on AC can even dunk..So I don't think they were dunking in warm-ups unless they were jumping off each others backs..
  2. AC is fine....They are #1 in the district as of now. They lost to a big rival..ok it happens..Losing to a big rival stinks alot...but winning district titles is more important while getting a shot at the region. Me personally I will lose to a rival as long as I keep getting my chance at hopefully getting to a state tournament.. Everyone has to remember that we are talking about high school kids....Nomatter how good the coaches are or are not..they are kids. some nights they will look amazing and put on a show.. others they will look like selfish little brats..Just hope for the best for whoever you are cheering on and enjoy a good basketball game. Just think it could always be worse..Your kid could be playing Soccer....... Good Luck to All, Dr. Phil
  3. Walden was very good and So is Rorex..Both also knew when stepping onto the court for a High School basketball game they were going to get the other teams best defenders.. ITs a good thing basketball is a TEAM sport... So the talk should be who stepped up when those two where getting all the attention.
  4. Just wondering who takes it tonight at Farragut.. Should be a good game.
  5. Catholic, Seymour, Gibbs, Anderson County.........UMMMMM NUFF SAID !!!!!!!
  6. Are ya kiddin? Catholic has to be the strongest team returning by far.. Then you have CAK did they even lose anybody? AC will also be tough but has some holes to fill. Stone should be good but will have to prove themselves.
  7. Catholic will be strong in district this year. So will CAK and AC. CAK I don't think lost much from last year but I am not sure. AC has some big spots to fill with out Byrge on the mound who Catholic almost beat last year in the tourney. Plus who knows what kind of head coach they have now? Loudon will probably sneak up on some people but they really should not be all that great. Kingston will be down but will not be an easy game by no means. Stone who I don't think lost anybody from last year I think will pull off some upsets this year. The final prediction Catholic CAK- if they can play as a team if not then AC AC- IF young guys can step up...They have big shoes to fill now that Byrge, Pack, and the Stooksbury kid is gone. Loudon- Always competitive Stone Kingston- Maybe better if young guys step up Scott
  8. AC was due a loss. This could be the best thing for them going into the last half of the season. Catholic played a great game and it was by far their night. Walden played great and the rest of the team just fed off him. Now if he can just get his dad to shut up and leave him alone during the game he might average 30 a game. Good win Irish.....
  9. well let me tell you about Seymour.. They are tough. I am not sure what pitcher you will see first accourding to how kyle kenamon(sp) arm is holding up after throwing two games last week. But if i was DC i would not want him to pitch. Saying we clocked him at 86-88 and sits their all night while touching the 90's every now and then. After you get through that he is 10 times a better hitter saying he has hit 49 home runs so far in his high school career. Now their is the rest of the team one of the most solid deffenses i have ever seen they play almost errorless baseball. Plus they are a rowdy bunch they will be loud the entire game. I wouldn't run to much on them either their catcher has a plus plus arm behind the plate. While on the offensive side they like to hit the hard stuff.. So good luck to both teams. But while i am not a Seymour parent or player but played against them and have watched their players over the last four years (lots of senoirs) I am going to have to go with the Eagles on this one!!!
  10. I wish all the East tenn teams the best of luck as well..
  11. Their is no weak pool in the tournament. Every team their is very good otherwise they would not be their. Can't wait to see how the games turn out. Good luck to all.
  12. Just wondering if kyle will be on the hill friday? I heard it takes his arm a long time to recover.
  13. Kyle Kanamon (sp) from seymour had 16 his freshmen year. He is a senior now and is going to walterstate. He can still hit it and brings it from the mound about 92..
  14. Rockwood is a great team.. I see them going to state.. I have seen the tigers play a couple of times. Their pitching is good but their hitting is what is going to give them the edge over most teams. I think the part they need to work on is their deffense. One game it will be good the next it will cost them some runs. When you get to state those mistakes will cost you ball games.. I think you will be able to hold your own when it comes down to it..
  15. Do you all speak english? Or have you spent to much time on the field and not in the class room?
  16. I saw the game SD played against DB in the Sports Belle.. SD was up 7-0 and then put all their JV guys in and they didn't even pitch anybody in their top5 at that.. I also saw DB kick it around at UT also they really didn't impress me..They are good but not what everyone made them out to be..
  17. Yeah I heard the sectional games for those teams were blowouts.. Thats really big for your top pitchers to get some rest and not have to throw that game. Being that game is on Friday and 1st game of state is on the following monday.
  18. I would have to put South Doyle right there with them.. With their pitching staff and the hitters they have.. Even with out Haun they will be one of the last teams in AAA still playing..
  19. Just wondering who has the hardest road to the state tournament.. I have notice in years past that some teams have it pretty easy once they get out of district and for some teams it just gets harder... Any thoughts on who has it hard or really easy..
  20. A- Rockwood AA- USJ, Seymour, Goodpasture AAA- Oakland, Bartlett, South Doyle
  21. Byrge pitched a no hitter against Oak Ridge friday night. That has to be worth somthing..
  22. I have seen both teams play. This should be a close ball game like always. Both teams have good pitching but I believe it will eventually come down to who will hit the ball in the right situations. Just wish I could be their to watch.. Good Luck to both teams...
  23. Should be a good and exciting game tonight at Catholic! good luck to both teams!!!
