I agree kazz I do believe that 15,7,40, and possibly 33 will be watching tonight they have all been banged up and TL aint gonna let them be banged til it means something.. In saying this you may be surprised on some young kids step up in 1 quarter of play

wartburg is a sleeper game... they always give oneida the best effort they have. I just hope the tribe comes out aware of this. wartburg has the potential to score quickly in the spread offense, but lambert im sure has been masterminding a plan all week to shut them out two years in a row.

KAZZEE man i am back and it has been a while.. I did seem to fall off i guess but have seemed to kinda crawl back up. This will be a good show friday night and a fun game to watch if the gap still gets the ball in the air on the perimeter like they did last year. Great start to the year for the indians, but hey we are just getting started. I know coach lambert knows the task at hand is week to week and keeping the ball rolling. You can bet he will keep telling his players that too. He and his staff are doing a great job preparing this team week to week hats off to the staff and team. As for this week against CG you can beleive they will be getting a steady dose of 11,35,28,8, and 24, and Slaven is throwing ball good too. I hope the offense continues to improve and put points on the board. As for Lamberts Defense they will need to force some more turnovers this week to beat a good CG team who loves to air it out. i havent even read everything on these pages actually not even half of it...but i can promise you that the oneida football team and especially their staff and head coach tony lambert respect hampton....you will not find a better act around than this staff and the head coach..coach lambert is known for his love of kids, his enthusiasm(or however you spell it) , and him being a class act...i played for him back in the day and i can promise you that he demands this from his teams as well.. point is dont think this is the team or staff talkin all this i am just simply saying that some people say stuff that reflect on others that dont want it.. all this is making it rought on coach lambert like black shirts said and he is just simply a good coach trying to get his kids to play well.. he knows hampton is a great caliber team and would never take anything away from them..so does his staff..they just want to see a bunch of orange and white jerseys flyin around the field friday night playing their hearts out.. but i havent seen many oneida people on here sayin oneida by 40 good luck with the long trip home! just let the kids play and have fun.. again safe trip for EVERYONE...and i hope for no more injuries EITHER way oh yea and coach lambert......no more scares on the sidelines please /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I dont post a lot anymore(mostly cause im too lazy lol), but it seems to me that both of these teams(coaches and players) have worked really hard to get here obviouslyso hats off to them. I can promise you oneida is a classy team with a lot of respect for hampton.They go by pride, class, and character. Trust me they know the task they have at hand is going to be a hard one. I would just like to congrat both teams and coaches for making it this far. I know there are a lot of other teams that would like to be playing this friday night. Pujo, you seem like a class act yourself. I agree with you these kids put a lot of work in this and ill be proud of oneida win lose or draw. The coaches also put a lot of time in. Both staffs are good and well respected through the state. Mosty its parents or just fans that get on here and talk smack, not the kids. The players know they have a job to do friday night and they are the only ones that can do it. Not mom or dad or uncle Tom. Kaz long time no see ol pal. well oneida is 3 points from being 6-2 ........2 of the teams that have beaten them are undefeated(Cgap and Hampton).. they have lost to 2 double a teams and 1 of those are ranked in the top ten..yes, a couple of field goals or turnovers... Lambert has the tribe right now on the same page.. But hey, I dont think that they are satisfied yet with 2 region games left..If if I know the CHIEF he'll not stop workin hard nor let his players til this season is over.. They still have a lot to prove...and they will need to continue to improve..My hat is off to this coaching staff with the work of this program and young team...I'll take the tribe in this one too..I'd even bet the CHIEF is at home right now cooking up a Defensive plan to cage up the tigers LOL.....KEEP PLAYIN HARD! offensively.... Buttram is a great athlete if he stays healthy he is the most threat on the perimiter. Lewallen hard runner not the fastest back Hudson is a scat back Slaven should settle in at qb this yr and make some plays The offensive line will be much better...mostly all juniors lead by Justin Terry Defensively A good returnin front seven....again lead by justin terry Lewallen, sexton, Andew Buttram, Lowe or possibly someone else will play linebacker The secondary is young only returning Aaron Buttram but should be pretty good There are alot of other good players that will help out alot also

Oneida might not have any stand out players this year at the skill positions because they are really young. But I can promise you that they will not fear anyone they play and will be a physical team. Tony Lambert wouldn't have it any other way. They will fly all around the ball on Defense and tackle anything around it. Hopefully our new "Classy O Cord." can manage to put up better numbers on the board than they did the last two years. It might take a little while for the players to get use to his style but if they do and put up points they will just fine because they are returning a lot on Defense.

Maybe Coach L will get things rolling back on track this season after making the playoffs last year. Yes they have one of the toughest schedules, but hey it could help them in the long run. Who knows what will happen this year but I will bet you TL will have them very physicall. Maybe his Defense will go three years in a row giving up 12 points a game!!!!

They play again tommorrow at Oneida. Maybe the conditions wont be as bad. Not all the players from Oneida are bush leauge like that. It's mostly the underclassmen and the guys that dont even get to play.
