  1. I believe the game has been moved to 4 because of Overton graduation. As for the game, I don't think Overton can hit Sonny Gray and I don't think Smyrna can hit Ben Johnson. I also think this could be a 1-0 game, but I don't know who to take. Also remember that Gray and Johnson threw a lot of pitches on Monday.
  2. South Doyle Oakland Overton Houston Science Hill Bradley Bartlett Mt Juliet
  3. I heard the game was wild. What happened?
  4. I think it will be overton and franklin
  5. Does anyone know the final standings?
  6. I think Franklin will out hit most of the teams and find some guys to throw strikes much like last year. Nobody thought they had any arms last year either, but guys like Pace and Liddle came in and did a good job. I think this team will be similar to that team. By the way thanks for letting me know his name, I didn't know it, just knew he was a good player.
  7. I think overall district 11 AAA is down this year with most of the top teams losing their top players. This year it is totally up for grab. I think that as many as six teams could fight for the top of the district. They are Brentwood, Centennial, Franklin, Independence, Overton, and Ravenwood. This district has put two teams in the state the last two years, which shows how good it is, however, I don't think it will happen again this year. Top players Brentwood-Ben Burgess Centennial-shortstop, don't know his name Franklin-Corban Joesph, Dykes Overton-Ben Johnson, Rayborn Ravenwood-P.J. Francescon Projected Finish 1.Franklin 2.Brentwood 3.Ravenwood 4.Centennial 5.Overton 6.Independence 7.Hickman Co. 8.Hillsboro 9.Hillwood
  8. Seen both teams play, Gallatin BIG, rivalry or not.
  9. Not sure if Cornell is playing or not, think he is. He had staph.
  10. This matchup is very interesting. Hunters Lane is very fast and their O-line is very impressive. They use their speed very well when they have the ball. On defense they are solid with some great talent. Gallatin is one of the best teams in the state. They are very well coached. I have not seen an O-line that stays on their blocks as long as they do in a long time and they are very talented at skilled positions. They also have very good depth with some crazy number of players (like 40 something seniors). Their defense is tough too, but I don't know if they have seen speed like Hunters Lane will bring. All this being said, I think this game will be close for a while and then Gallatin will pull away late. Don't be surprised if it stays close if Hunters Lane can control the ball. Overall I think Gallatin is too good and too deep. However, I think Hunters Lane will put up more points then Gallatin fans have come used to seeing for the opposition.
  11. This is a HUGE game for both teams. If you look at the schedules, Hendersonville still has Gallatin and Hunters Lane after the matchup with Overton, two of the best teams in the region. Overton has McGavock and Hillwood after Hendersonville. I think if Overton wins, they will make the playoffs and Hendersonville will be on the outside looking in with the upcoming schedule. If Hendersonville wins, they put themselves in a good position to make it and Overton has to have a lot go right for them to get in. I think the game comes down to the wire. Overton was beat up against Gallatin with multiple injuries at key positions, one being key OL/DL Cornell. With Cornell coming back anchoring the line, I look for them to give White some room to run and pull out the win. My final Region Standings: 1. Gallatin 7-0 2. Hunters Lane 5-2 (losses: Antioch, Gallatin) 3. Overton 5-2 (losses: Hunters Lane, Gallatin) 4. Antioch 5-2 (losses: Gallatin, Overton) 5. Hendersonville 3-4 (losses: Gallatin, Hunters Lane, Overton, Antioch) 6. McGavock 2-5 (losses: Gallatin, Hunters Lane, Overton, Antioch, Hendersonville) 7. Glencliff 1-6 (win: Hillwood) 8. Hillwood 0-7 (few years away; have a good coach)
  12. What are the updated district 11AAA standings
  13. Who are You!!! You obviosly don't know what you are talking about. You are dumb! Ravenwood is good, but they are going to beat Overton big. In your Dreams. Overton has a very good lineup. Goodenow , Vernon, Sutherland all hit over .400 last year and Hudson was not far behind! Ravenwood has Kole in the lineup anyone else is not even close to the fab 4. Overton also has a better Pitching staff with Goodenow, Sutherland, Hudson, and Johnson. Are you telling me that they are going to rock Goodenow everytime he pitches against them. Nothing will change in that perspective. Goodenow always dominates Ravenwood period!!!!!!!
  14. I think Timmy "BIG DOG" Wilson out of the Chatanooga area is someone that no one is mentioning. Are you guys serious!?!? He's the best pitcher out of TN since Reggie Harlem was lightiing up the record books in 1971. Wilson went 15-1 with a 0.34 ERA last year and this summer hit 97 on numerous occassions. He puts anybody and everybody to shame. He was the Tostitos Doritos Fritos Cheetos player of the year, a huge honor and will soon have his jersey number retired at his high school. He is ranked the #1 player in TN and the #2 player in the country according to ESPNDeportes.com. He is by far the best pitcher in the state.
