  5. Any predictions for state contenders from D11? I dont know many i know White House has Jimmie Childers who will definately be a contender at 119!!
  6. WH 53 had 18 points, but according to DC they shut him down. He had more points than any player on DC's team, but they shut him down. After watching the game on WH's local channel, WH should have won that game. Not figuring in the tip in at the buzzer, but the missed easy shots underneath would of had WH by at least 6 points at the end of the game. These shots were not blocked they were just missed. Again there is always next year. By the way CONGRATS to LIBERTY.
  7. Not really. You always want your team to go one more game even if it would be against Liberty. Liberty was very impressive last night. I have never seen them play before. They have a lot of talent and seem to not have to rely on one or 2 players win as some teams do. When you can sub 4 players at a time that says something. Good luck Liberty. I just believe by reading all the post on Coach T, a lot of people under estimated WH. For instance people posting WH did not have a chance against DC and DC would have no prblem beating them because of the loss they had to UC in December. DC did beat them but definately had a problem doing it. WH out played for 3 and a half quaters but unfortunately gave it up in the end when it counted. I would still like to see the video of the last shot and when the buzzer went off. It was close and the ref's sure ran out quick after the one made the call. Makes you think. I know there isn't anything that will or can be done, so there is always next year. WH has come a long way in ther b-ball program. Keep it going BIG BLUE.
  8. I was at the game and saw Liberty play before the WH and DC game. Liberty will destroy DC.
  9. All of this back and forth of OH YEAH's is a waste. It sounds like this will be a game to watch tonight. It doesn't matter what a WH fan thinks or a DC fan, it will all be decided tonight by the guys on the court and the coaches. It sounds like both teams are good and have their own style of playing. I'm sure coaches know how the other team plays and will adjust their playing accordingly. I will be there and hope it is a GREAT game.
  10. I saw the game last night on the local access channel in White House. A couple of things I noticed that cost East Ridge the game was the player, I think #30, who took I don't know how many 3 point shots and bricked. After missing at least 3 he should have stopped taking that shot. I did see him make a few jumpers, he should have stayed with that. The BIG GUY for ER was not a huge factor in the game. He had a few blocked shots, but that's all I really saw out of him in that game. He needs to work on the free throws for sure. Maybe nerves got to him if he knew the 2 college coaches were there. One other important thing that played into WH winning is they played almost a complete game. That had the few minutes where they allowed ER to come back and tie the game to go into over time, but all and all they played almost all four quaters. To Welch, way to keep your head in the game after the over and back call and coming back and hitting some key shots to help give WH the win. That basketball in the middle of their court hides the half court line pretty good. All you guys from WH played well. Anyway, WAY TO GO BIG BLUE. Way to finish Monday night. We will be at Wednesday's game against DC. I know you guys are capable of doing it again. Just stay focused and take it to them. Good Luck.
  11. I was at that game and again student section, especially from rival schools are going to rag each other, thats just part of high school sports. Unfortunately some can take it a little to far. I believe both teams would have rathered played closer to home than have to drive an hour and a half to play against each other when they are only 15 minutes from a nutruel gym, but that wasn't either of their call. As for the cheese on the nacho's; you shouldn't be so stingy with the cheese next time. You should be able to dip more than one chip in the cheese and still have some left to dip the rest of your chips in. Just kidding. I only ordered a coke from the concession stand so I really shouldn't comment on the nachos. Also congrats on having the only perfect student body and fans that NEVER get upset, complains or acts up during sporting events, you must be proud.
  12. It seems that WH fans were not as scared as you thought. It seems we had a good showing. Looks like WH's MVP's and the greatest coach in the state /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> have NOT ended, even though I don't believe I ever saw them called the best in the state, I guess we will have wait and see on that one. I do know they came out on top Monday night, that puts them one step closer.
  13. They did lose to Union City by a large margin, but if you want to base your chances on that one game, feel free to do so. White House is a totally diffrent team from that tournament. I do not think WH will base their chances against Dyer County based on their season win/loss column. It's all new at this point As i said about the regional tournament whatever teams shows up to play and play all 4 quarters will walk away the winner. I do not predict points, I do doubt we will see a double digit win from either team, but this is the STATE tournament, anything can happen.
  14. There was one WH player that did not shake hands with the other all region team players, which was also not very classy either, I agree with you on that. But the other 2 players did shake hands with the other players. I was at the championship game and if you are speaking of the 2 points, the book keepers including SC had a part in the outcome on that one. I agree with the fact that the ref's were substandard but not one sided. Of course depends on any given person's point of view. I know SC feels like they couldn't get a break and as people from WH felt the same, so who's right. Are you say SC student's did not do the same to WH players? Both student sections were taunting the opposing teams, I don't have a problem with that, that has been a part of high sports forever. What I'm saying as a player by most coach's standards needs to be an exception to that stuff. Like it or not athletes have different standards put on them than other students. Because how they react and respond reflect on their teammates and school. One player can set the tone on how people view a team and their school. I understand getting caught up in the moment and with all the trash talk back and forth it's easy to go a little crazy and react off of emotion. Lastly, on a less serious note, I do have to say that I did missed the guy in the wig trying to make fun of Welch for WH. Maybe WH missed that motivation last night. As I said before good luck to both teams next Monday. WH and SC have plenty more games against each other to play and I believe this rivaly will be going on a long time from now.
  15. I don't believe the WH fans are weeping and that's gnashing, not nashing, of teeth. It was disappointing to lose, as it would have be for SC if they lost. The only excuse for the loss is the missed free throws and shots underneath from White House. SC did well at the free throw line. That was the difference in game last night. Both teams did not play there best game, but SC played well enough to come up with a 2 point win. Maybe the 2 "PHANTOM POINTS" showed back up (JOKE) /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> . The only thing negative I would say was the cocky taunts to the fans from a couple of Station Camp players (00 and 5) after the game. Totally unclassy. If you are going to be champions, act like it and celebrate with class like the rest of your team did. Good Luck to both teams Monday night.
  16. These games are what championships are about. 2 teams battling down to the buzzer. Thats what happened last night. I thought the officating was good compared to what I know we have all seen this season. They really did not play a part in a win or loss for the teams. White House loss diffinately came on the missed free throws and the easy under neath baskets that have been a given all season long for them. Good luck to both teams on Monday. I would rather see a local tem make it all the way.
  17. I think this could be anybodies game tonight. Of course I want WH to win. I'm sure both teams have prepared for each other and both teams want it bad. I believe it will come down to who wants it more and who is going to stay focused and play all four periods. Both teams are good, there's no question about that. I believe the 2 best teams are battling for the regional championship as it should be. I bet it will be a fight down to the last buzzer. All I can say now is GO BIG BLUE! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  18. dang yall couldve ended this a long time ago if yall wouldve just started thinkin like a mom!! Moms are always right!! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Hey Ms. J ; )

    Region 4aa

Station Camp and Portland will be the top two teams but i wouldnt underestimate White House last years Region Champs who lost 9 seniors 4 of which started in defense for 3 years they have some young talent!! Strong forward(Andrew Taylor) and Strong Midfielder(Zach Trobaugh) they will upset some people!!
  20. They didnt get any of the twin towers I dont think they want any of Big Daddy Gaines!!! Or Biggen!! White House by at least 10!!!
  21. i know who you are and you play for Beech can you explain to me what you have done for Beech soccer????? Andrew Taylor led the 2006 team in scoring on there way to a Region title and Zach Trobaugh led in assists and i believe second in goals on the way to a Region title!! what did yall win?? are you serious Zach Trobaugh is one of the top junior soccer players in the state, he is being looked at by 3 Division 1 Schools!! thats pretty impressive!!
  22. It was was White House's in school and Childers nerves got to him he didnt have a good match!! But he came through at Regions!!
  23. I do believe that the kid from hendersonville lost to Childers and didnt score a point on him!! He is Jimmie's only loss in there region!! Childers will dominate!!!
