4th Annual FCHS (Franklin Co. High School) Play date is now accepting teams for Oct 30 and 31 games. Teams will play 3 games. College coaches will be in attendance Registration fee is $100.00 and limited to the first 30 teams. This event has become one of the most viewed playdates in the middle Tennessee area. Does anyone have the schedule for the event at Rhea Co. this Friday and Saturday?

When you build your schedule in advance you have no idea how good or bad your competition will be. It is true that the Clarkrange and Jackson Co. year in and out should be good but to say all the other Single and double A teams are weak is unfair. I am sure that the coach is not padding his stats at the cost of this team being ready for state time. It is hard to disagree with a coach with 2 rings. Also 13-2 is not that shabby.

Does anyone have a schedule to the event at McNairy Central on Dec 29 / 30? Who are the teams that should be there?

Tullahoma went 1-2 Franklin Co. went 2-0 Pre season is what it is. It's a time for the coaches to look at their teams and see where they are. FC did have wins over Obion and Dyersburg. Both teams had several good players and had good energy. Good luck to all in 8 AAA.

Does anybody know how many of these programs have been state champs in the last 10 yrs and how many?

I think that I can agree with most of this post except for the fact that everyone will be looking up at Shelbyville. The loss of the 6-3 post and the spliting of their AAU program (flight-stars) will be an area for concern. Their depth I think will start to come into play this year and for sure next. That is of course if someone does not transfer in at the last minute as it always seems to happen. Good luck to all in 8AAA.

Could be very interesting this season. I could see the winner having 2 district losses and may not be decided till the last week. There are so many other questions: How will Shelbyville play without their 6-3 post? Who will step up for FC with the loss of the 20+ point a game district player of the year? Can CC gel under their new coach that love defense? Will Tullahoma ever get on track and get the parents out of the decision making of that team? Has Lincoln Co run out of players to run that offense? Can Columbia recover from last years collapse at the end of the season? Does LC have any help for Jordan? All I can say is good luck to everyone and play hard.

I am trying to find out where and when the AAU sub-states will be played? Also does anyone have a link for TNaau girls basketball?

With the second half underway in 8AAA looks like CRAZY things are starting to occur. How is this going to finish up now?

It's time to get this going. There was a lot of graduations and a few coaching changes along with a few players looking for greener pastures to add spice to this years season. Does anyone know where is the site for the D2 state? I am looking for the times and schools where they are playing at.

I have seen the north,south and east brackets but where are the north ? Some teams are already doneand I would like to know who is left. (South and East)

Anyone got the sub-state dates yet? I have heard that some age groups may start as early as 3/30.

I hate to be the one to break this to you but the Tullahoma Elite Freshmen have been together since the sixth grade. True not everyone was there but the core of East players were. The same is true for Shelbyville players at Harris.(7th and 8th) and for FC. Those players have played AAU together since they were 11 and some since the 4th grade. I hope all 8AAA teams do great. Now that the teams are set, how does this region shake out?

The Franklin Co. Rebelettes are at the KSA Tournament in Orlando. To this point they have two wins and are in the finals on Saturday. They have wins over Orange HS of NJ and Milton HS of GA. They are starting to play better and maybe getting their swagger back. Still alot of tough games left in 8AAA.

What does that have to do with anything? If she can coach and has a passion for the game and the players will buy into it how can this be bad. Does the problem come from bad coaching or the power struggles within the county?

Who is the boys middle school coach in Warren Co. She would be a good coach to look at from watching the way her teams has bought into her system. They play hard ,well trained and seem to respect her. She has a passion for the game and really does a good job coaching from the side lines. Most teams are a reflection of their coachs ability to teach and communicate.

When you have a team of mostly seniors you have a reason to believe that it is possible. One thing is sure that you do not go to the state in December. There is alot of season to go and when all is said and done WE WILL be in mix.

FC had a bad night at Shelbyville last night. Looks like the loss last Friday has not left this groups mind yet. Not taking anytime from the Eaglettes but I look forward to getting them to our house. Our point guard was injuried very early in the game and that did not help and still do not know how serious it is. Coach Wild and his staff will regroup this bunch and have them focused by the next game. GO REBELETTS.
