News Flash!!! SP is not the only school that play teams in a division higher than themselves. Truth is if SP played 2A and 3A teams weekly they would be a better than average team but not exceptional. That is not saying the kids are better or the coaching staff is, it only means that upper division schools have a larger pool of kids to pull from. Some SP fans will always have excusses for losses and coulda and woulda comments. They only see the game in their school colors and will not look at the broad picture. SP and Polk are both great teams in their division. Reality stinks

I think it's time for Boyd coaches to take a step back and realize that they can't go deep in the playoffs with the offensive skeems that they have been useing the last few years. Every team that has quality players can easily defend the play if they know what is coming. SP just pulled the linebackers up off the d-lines rear. They were coming on the snap everytime. They either stopped the run or put the pressure on the QB. With the weather being a factor they came even harder. We have had all year to work on other plays. The run opens up the pass like the pass opens up the run. We have had to much success in the preseason 7 on 7 in the last two years to turn your back on that success. Open up the playbook. The O-line has been getting all the emphassis because we look awesome against CCS, Silverdale, Grace and Notre Dame. Last nights game and Red Banks game should have brought to light some major weaknesses. Every player has to do their job. Some did some didn't.

Thank Imaowl sounds like he has gotten bigger. How was he doing before is knee went out. Yes Caldwell does have speed. But didn't he block well for the Marshall kid.

Sorry to hear that Imaovl. How come they moved him to the line, seems he had hands, could block well, and run the ball. Would he have contributed this to the team?

I was asking about Gaston I thought he might have been a sophmore that played on the freshman team last year as a fullback. Just thought that was him must have been someone else. Cause that fullback I seen play should be a sophmore now. Where is that sophmore now cause from the looks of it they are about the same size and that freshman fullback was a brusier when I watched some of the freshman games last year. Thank for clearing that up. If you have any info where that sophmore is now let me know. Heard some other kids at other school talk about him but they didn't know his name. Fiqured he was contributing since he was noticed by several kids.

I was wondering if any of the stud sophmores got to play or start tonight? Because there were a few on last year freshman team that I thought would contribute to the team this year under the lights on friday nights. What year is Gaston? And is he the one who played fullback and blocked for Brian Marshall on last years freshman team because he was a beast when watching him block and run the ball last year.
