What are the testing dates for each region this year?

Usary was a sr last year, not sure where he's at now. I'm sure he's wrestling somewhere.

Forrest Gump said "stupid is as stupid does". Your post is proof positive. Myers had a good tournament but i'm sure his goal was to win gold. Usary wrestled three returning medalists, something I'm not sure anyone else did in D1, and went home with his second GOLD medal. As for if they could legally certify at 112 or 125, of cource they could. THEY DID. "That's all I've got to say about that"

Im not too sure that Ben Johnson could beat Bo Usary.

A little off the topic, but it was announced at the region 1 tournament that Science Hill had set a national record for most pins in a season this year.

Region 1 came home with 10 medals.

I don't think anyone at 130 will come within 5-6 points of Bundy this year.

We are both wrong. They wrestled one time the summer before last at the Best of the Best tournament. The other time was the same tournament this past summer.

I'm sure Bundy is a great guy and has worked hard to get where he is today but lets be honest here. There is no way you can "overlook" someone who had beaten you twice before ( even if it was freestyle) and was ranked second going into the state tournament. The best man won that day. Bundy wrestled a better match this year vs. Usary and the better man won that day also. I just belive Usary should get a little more credit for what he accomplished last year than " I overlooked him". Good luck to both wrestlers this weekend in their quest for GOLD.

I agree with you.

Maybe someday instead of talking crap about a finals match, you will get to wrestle in one.

Did Bowman get to wrestle again after what looked to be a crossface to his mouth. ( Called a bite by the ref)?

On the flip side, If you have never sat close to that parent going off on the ref, the coach, or the other wrestler while their kid was losing, then you may be that parent.

When did Pair beat Bundy? Was it this year? I know Bundy only lost once last year and thought he was undefeated this year.

To be honest, I don't know alot about Pair.( maybe you could fill me in ) I do know It would be hard for me to say anybody at 125 is the odds on favorite over someone who is the returning state champ in that weight class, who has wrestled up one and two weights all year and still has a 55-1 record, and has two OW awards so far for this year. If Pair has the stats to top those then I will agree with you. This is in no way a knock on Pair, just what you said.

What kinda odds are you giving? There seems to be a trend here with you picking against Usary.

My theory would be that two #1's would wrestle the #4's. Having two #1's wrestle each other in two of the round's of 16, if the #1's won their first match. You would also have to have two #2's wrestle #3's in there somewhere. It could be done like this - 1--------- --------- 3--------- --------- 2--------- --------- 2--------- --------- 1--------- --------- 3--------- --------- 2--------- --------- 3--------- 1--------- --------- 3--------- --------- 1--------- --------- 4--------- --------- 2--------- --------- 2--------- --------- 3--------- --------- 1--------- The bottom 1/2 of the bracket would be reversed. You will have to draw your own lines, mine didn't come out right.

Ricker is wrestling 125 now, has been for a couple of weeks.

I'm pretty sure Science Hill was 3rd, Greenville 4th.
