  1. Wish I would have known. What did you think ?
  2. Chris Russell for Dyersburg is a bad dude. He only had 2 carries on offense. Both were highlight reel TDS. Also had a Sport Center pick 6. Be interesting to see if Memphis can hold on to his commitment.
  3. It took me all weekend to get here and write this message. Everything that I click on in the forum a gift card add pops up.
  4. It has been a long time since a freshman has started on varsity at Dyersburg. Did not happen with Counce and has not with Stowe. They have five upperclassmen backs who could start for most teams around here.
  5. Dyersburg will be fine. I know what they looked like against Lexington and Milan. I don’t know if they have ever won a jamboree game.
  6. Actually his number is 4 but you are correct. He is a stud. The freshman running back will not see much time on offense because of a stable of upper class man RBs. He will probably get some playing time at LB. He has the potential to be the biggest recruit ever at Dyersburg. 6 ‘ 2 and 235 as a freshman and can fly.
  7. Did you make it to Milan Dyersburg scrimmage ? Dyersburg dominated. 28-0 . That Chris Russell is a bad dude.
  8. Welcome to Dyersburg. You will look much better in Black and Vegas Gold. Should be a good year. Lots of returning starters including a LB with offers from Arkansas , Georgia Tech and Memphis.
  9. Not much talk about this one. Looks to be perfect weather. Don't want the field to be wet . That will give Crockett an excuse since a wet field only affects them.
  10. Should be another great game. Dyersburg beat Crockett in every statistic possible except the one that matters in the first game. Crockett only had 7 or 8 first downs and only one drive over 30 yards. A turnover and 2 kick returns was what beat Dyersburg. Whoever can limit mistakes will win.
  11. Dyersburg wins 57-37. Ended the night with 432 yards rushing.
  12. Congrats to coach Decker. The young Trojan defense has got a lot of work to do. Obion lined up ran it down our throat for 320 yards.
  13. Dyersburg had 425 yards rushing against Brighton with a very young line that has 2 starters out. Never seen so many running backs. Have 6 that could start for about anybody. I see 7-3 or 8-2. I say next year is the year.
  14. I agree. I watched Haywood/UC and was surprised. Haywood has playmakers and can throw the ball but the dominant lines they usually have are not there. You would have thought Haywood won a state championship when they went for 2 and won at the end.
  15. Dyersburg has potential but are young. Very very small senior class .Probably a year away from being a major threat. Depends on how fast they grow up. Even after losing a lot from last years backfield they are loaded at RB. Probably the most depth at RB they have ever had which is saying a lot.
  16. I'm pretty sure Milan is open zone as is Dyersburg. No different than Alcoa or Maryville. There is just A LOT more students to pick from for them,
  17. Number ones was 3-0 Dyersburg. I did not mean to put East down and you are correct scrimmages don't really matter. Both teams had players out for baseball and other reasons. Just pointing out Dyersburg looked good.
