I got word today that everyone is back and healthy except for the lineman we lost for the year. We will see Friday night.

"IF" the ship has been righted and things are back to normal Adamsville will not beat Trezevant. They will absolutely play them tough and will be a bigger obstacle than Trez had last year but if both bring the A game not gonna happen.

I think East should take this one but NS should put up a fight. Maybe my memory is bad but I don't ever remember theses two playing.

We lost a senior lineman a couple weeks ago with a broke leg and no word yet if Fields will play. This game is always close. Probably because of both playing similar offenses. If Dyersburg plays up to potential we should win this one.

In no way do I hate Liberty. Will be pulling for them to represent the region. Milan and Henry County have earned respect over many many years. Keep fooling yourself but Liberty has many more elite athletes every year than either of these teams. Liberty has a very good record against both teams. Both of these teams have been able to compete for and win gold balls over the years. Why has Liberty not been able to ? They have the talent to compete for one.

LOL. I will never be jealous of under achievers. Liberty should be able to compete with the teams that you mention. Those teams are not powerhouses because of who they play. They are powerhouses because of solid talent and COACHING. Put one of those coaches at Liberty and see what happens. Heck put one at Dyersburg and see what happens. Im not here to bash Liberty and Im sure not sitting on one win. I was just poking at you because one can tell that game still bothers you.

You just dont get it and I guess never will. With the talent that goes thru Liberty , they should play for it all every year. Maybe this is the year that your "excellent coaching staff" gets you there, Anything else with 6 DI prospects is a failure. And beating Liberty is not our signature win. I take more pride in beating Milan. They have tradition and do a lot more with a lot less than Liberty. So in the last 20 years we have made the Semis 2 times and Liberty 3 times but Liberty has had at least 30 times more prospects. You should be mad with Liberty's success rate not bragging. My point in all of this is Dyersburg should never be able to compete with Liberty when you look at talent. We beat Liberty in 2014 and had you beat last year until the 4th and 20 fluke play. It is 100 % Dyersburg and Obion will not be in region 8 so number 2 it is.

Im pretty certain Milan is open zone just as Dyersburg is. Just not taken advantage of over this way.

Maybe Liberty , Dyersburg , Haywood , Memphis East and Lexington to name a few will be able to field a team on this end of the state. I know we will never be able to compete but at least you will have someone to play.

Yall can keep fooling yourself and hoping but like TheAmbassador said unless you have the athletes to match theirs it is going to be tough.

Milan and Trezevant on this end of state. I sure hate that we missed 3A by a hair. Would love to battle these two teams. We have had some good ones against both the last several years.

In their defense SG did not have many choices with this game. They had to replace JCM.

A Milan / Alcoa game would be great but I have a feeling that something will be worked out with Dyersburg or Henry County. Getting out of a region with Milan is the thing that I hate most about moving to 4A. At least we should still have Liberty.

Once again it is gonna suck but here is my prediction. Maybe they put Ripley in 8. Region 7 Lexington Hardin Co. Chester Co. South Side North Side Liberty Crockett Co. Obion Co. Dyersburg Ripley Region 8 Haywood Fayette Ware Millington Craigmont Kirby

I appreciate the work you have done here but I have lived here all life and it takes 1.5 hours to get to Memphis. We are with in 40 minutes of Liberty , NS , SS , Crockett , Ripley , Obion and Haywood. We are within 20 minutes of three of these. Heck it only takes 1 hr and 15 min to get to Lexington. Like I said it is going to suck but we will not be in region 8.

Dyersburg is closer to all region 7 teams you have listed than they are the Memphis teams with the exception of Hardin.
